I have just read forty pages of thread and it’s almost full! Let us congregate here for answers!

Now this is weird...
Just told my Oh half this joke...

When he read it out.... I said AND...
He said oh you know him do you....

So maybe his name is AND and the joke only works and is finally finished when someone says it and the other person says AND as an answer.

purplebunny2012 · 04/12/2018 22:45

The most random joke I've ever heard (and obviously never forgotten) is:
2 bags of crisps walk down the street. Bag 1 turns to bag 2 and asks "Where do you live?"
Bag 2 replies "I can't tell you that, you might steal my washing!"

ArabellaUmbrella · 04/12/2018 22:48

Fair play OP, you've got most of MN guessing...
(Yes I need to know the answer too)

purplebunny2012 · 04/12/2018 22:49

Again and againagain got on a bus. Againagain got off. Who was left?

Surely the answer to that is "If Who was left on the bus, then what happened to Again?"

NotACompleterFinis · 04/12/2018 22:49

I just want to cry.

Oh but now I can’t see ops posts highlighted! (Help!!!!) am eagerly awaiting Thursdays update

IAmMumWho · 04/12/2018 22:55

I've posted on two groups I'm in on Facebook and I'm told by one person that there is no answer, it's and endless riddle. Another person mentioned bread. Someone else said the jokes on the OP who wrote it. Just don't blinking know!!

Letshopeitsallok · 04/12/2018 22:56

Madam Josephine I’ve not heard of Whamageddon. I did play a similar game with some American friends using Little Drummer Boy as apparently you can’t escape it there but it’s too easy here. I play UK version with Fairytale of New York. (Always lose!)

IAmMumWho · 04/12/2018 22:58

Who thinks this Riddle/Joke will end up in the DM tomorrow haha

arethereanyleftatall · 04/12/2018 22:59

Any chance please, that once the answer is discovered, someone would be kind enough to start a new thread just containing the answer.
I want to, but I just don't have the necessary time in my life for this shit.

Wednesdaypig · 04/12/2018 22:59

Waiting....

JojoWiloLula · 04/12/2018 22:59

😭 roll on Thursday

ASongOfRiceAndPeas · 04/12/2018 23:01

@mummy2017 I also think it’s just the other person saying “and?” At the end.

fringegrin45 · 04/12/2018 23:01

@cheesemongery

Yes think this was most likely

There once was a man called Bos. Well, for short they called him Bos

But why is it funny he walked somewhere? Idk

OhLookHeKickedTheBall · 04/12/2018 23:02

I lurked frustratedly on the last thread and I've lost the game more times in the last few days than ever before ffs.

I reckon there's no answer. Its a club they let you into and you can't talk about it not being a riddle at all. Like fight club, but less interesting and more talking about it.

Thisimmortalcurl · 04/12/2018 23:04

This really better not be a very elaborate joke on us . I have spent to long annoyed trying to figure some sense out of it.

BoswellHasLeftTheBuilding · 04/12/2018 23:06

Yawn...

I NEED MORE ABOUT BOS WELL - solve a riddle part two
Noloudnoises · 04/12/2018 23:13

No idea but has the variation of the last line 'walked up the post, off-his-steps' been mentioned? Although not sure what that adds?

Omzlas · 04/12/2018 23:18

I only came here because I thought there'd be an answer by now....

But we are lost without him

MerryInthechelseahotel · 04/12/2018 23:21

Magoria I completely agree with you!

"There was a man whose name was Boswell, for short they called him Bosandhewalkedupthepostofficesteps..."

And quick as a flash someone wittily intercepted with "that's not short for Boswell!!"

This.

LarkDescending · 04/12/2018 23:23

I reckon GCHQ are scratching their heads as to why Google searches for Boscombe Down have spiked in the last 24 hours.

BoswellAndNotAndAFox · 04/12/2018 23:25

My prediction:

• OP is not sincere and not trolling

DerekTheWonderdog really has got it

• It's analogous to a visual perspective puzzle but semantic, not the pun/wordplay or the meta armfolding stuff.
