AIBU to ask about petty things you've done?

Just that, really! I thought it would be a fun thread to ask about petty things you've done just because you can. I want to hear about your parking fares paid with 1p pieces!

I'll start: I had an ex who was (when I looked back after the relationship ending) emotionally abusive, sexually coercive, and generally awful. Years after we broke up, he self published the book he'd been working on whilst we'd been together. It was a dystopian novel which revolved around a huge corporation doing some terrible things, and when I googled the name of the book to be nosey, I found that a real corporation with that name DID EXIST in Brazil. I may or may not have sent an email to make them aware of such defamation and gone to the effort to have Google translated it into Portuguese Grin

My ex was horrible to me when I had a chest infection so I hacked up some sticky gunge and spat it into his special milk.

Great thread! My SIL is a complete bitch, she’s also a very houseproud neat freak so I like to buy her children messy presents. Think craft sets with glitter, science kit, play dough etc. This Christmas i’m thinking about motion sand. The kids love it and it really pisses her off.

GummyGoddess · 03/12/2018 22:19

@Hodgeheg3 May I suggest something with iron filings? You'd think they can easily be picked up by a magnet, but you would be mistaken. Also something with powder like plaster of paris kits. It goes everywhere.

There are a lot of single lane river and railway bridges where I live with one way having the right of way. Whenever someone ignores my right of way and pulls onto the bridge while I’m on it I stop the car and put the handbrake on. I waited 15 mins once until the other car reversed back then cheerfully explained the concept of give way lines when I slowly drove past them.

No one has the "right of way" you may have priority over the vehicle coming the other way, but even then it's only if you get there before or at the same time as them.
