Can anyone help? I'd quite like a constant stream of Graham Norton, Loose Women and TED talks with a touch of magic fm. Can anyone recommend anything?

Last Podcast on the Left - American podcast mainly on true crime, irreverent and sometimes close to the bone humour!

The Dave Ramsey show - American talk radio show where listeners call in with questions about debt, family/marriage probs related to money etc. Completely inoffensive and quite educational.

Young House Love - American husband and wife couple talking about home improvements and related stuff, very light hearted.

The Mental Illness Happy Hour - I LOVE this podcast and it has helped me a lot. Interviews with people speaking about mental health, addictions, their childhoods and traumas. Some very strong topics, you definitely can't listen with children around. There's a great episode with the actress Tiffany Haddish.

That's Not Metal - UK podcast, news and reviews on rock and metal bands

Started listening to beautiful stories from anonymous people after it was mentioned above. It's really good.

OK thicko question ...if I download podcasts to my phone and then listen in my car ..am I using data?

I thought I wasn't but my data is dwindling fast for some reason?

ggirl · 06/12/2018 16:49

download at home on wifi, I mean

Knittink · 06/12/2018 16:54

Ggirl - on my podcast app, when you click on a podcast from the list you've searched/selected, you can either click on the play button to listen straight away or the download icon to download it into your 'downloaded episodes' folder. I think the former uses data, where as listening to a downloaded one doesn't.

thanks , yes pretty sure I'm downloading before I listen in the car
