I’ll start. There is absolutely nothing acceptable about all day breakfast in a tin so why did I buy it in B&M earlier and eat it for dinner?! Blush

cheese spread on mini cheddars groans with greed.

LesLavandes · 27/11/2018 23:15

Omg. 🤣🤣🤣. I read the whole thread. Think I going to be sick.😂

KayDog · 27/11/2018 23:22

Tinned peas and salad cream

Anchovies straight out of the tin

JaceLancs · 27/11/2018 23:24

Tinned rice pudding

arranbubonicplague · 27/11/2018 23:35

A friend once served me dates stirred into baked beans...

And, yes, decades later, I still eat this - my preference is for some fried onions to be added into the date and bean mix, possibly a smidgen of golden syrup or treacle.

Didsomeonesaybunny · 27/11/2018 23:36

Nacho cheese on everything!

Lindy2 · 27/11/2018 23:43

One of those micowave burgers in a bun.
I was cold and hungry and only 1 min 30 seconds to wait for the said burger to be ready was very tempting.
It tasted quite good Blush
I've brought another one Grin

Apple sliced and sugar sandwich, mashed banana sandwich, chip buttie. All only work on white bread.

willstarttomorrow · 27/11/2018 23:48

Heron foods is not a shop that is yet nation wide. But for those of you who know it they have an amazing toaster product which is basically a massive chicken nugget in 90 seconds. And 2 for £1!

MonsterTequila · 27/11/2018 23:50

Pepperoni pizza topped with cheesey chips & garlic sauce.

2 double cheeseburgers- insert the beef from one into the other & you have yourself a quadruple cheeseburger 😉

Chinese Salt & pepper everything 😍 just love that stuff.

Chipshop chip butty with the butter all melting out, dipped in curry sauce.

Bacon & French toast.

So much more I’ll think of....

@GaspingGekko

I'm alternating between gagging and feeling hungry reading these "foods".
Mine is Philadelphia cream cheese on chocolate digestives. Yum.

Like a makeshift chocolate cheesecake? Genius.

Grilledaubergines · 27/11/2018 23:52

Tube of Primula cheese. The one with shrimp. I hide it under other things in the trolley in case I see someone I know and they spot it.

WidowTwonky · 27/11/2018 23:59

What’s a rollmop?

Grilledaubergines · 28/11/2018 00:03

Oh god, rollmops. I can still visualise the jars of them my gran had. Envy

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 28/11/2018 00:12

Egg (not) mayonnaise - made with Heinz salad cream instead of mayonnaise.

Burnt toast.

Toast and goose dripping with sea salt.

Nat6999 · 28/11/2018 00:13

Beef Dripping on crusty white bread, all the brown bits out of the bottom & a sprinkling of salt. My local bread shop still sells dripping, I think they mix bovril in it, it's gorgeous.

Tartyflette · 28/11/2018 00:30

Tinned chilli con carne (must be the 'Dynamite Hot' one) heated, poured over a thick and lavishly buttered slice of toast, topped with a grilled hotdog or three and finished off with a couple of slices of plastic cheese . If it's 'Mexican' cheese with chillies in it, so much the better.
To garnish, squirt American mustard and Heinz chilli ketchup attractively over the top. Filthy.
Indigestion pretty much guaranteed.

Lovingbenidorm · 28/11/2018 00:35

Rollmops yeah! Was addicted in my youth, haven’t had one in years

Lovingbenidorm · 28/11/2018 00:37

Widow it’s a raw, rolled up pickled herring fillet👍

seventhgonickname · 28/11/2018 00:40

I keep thinking I will try a fraybentos pie butam worried it will not be nice and ruin my childhood memories of it being the best.

Tartyflette · 28/11/2018 00:46

The best rollmops I've tasted were Kosher ones from a North London deli, sold in plastic tubs. The herrings are really fat, stuffed with the sliced, pickled onions AND a few bits of pickled cucumber too.

bananafish · 28/11/2018 00:48

Cheese on toast with baked beans on top
Smash mash with butter and cheese and full fat plain greek yoghurt
Corned beef fried with rice and chili mmmm

Lovingbenidorm · 28/11/2018 00:51

Tarty yes please!

MrsStrowman · 28/11/2018 00:59

Jellied eels
Bernard Matthews turkey drummers (I have them for dinner sometimes when DH is away , with salad cream...)

BunsOfAnarchy · 28/11/2018 01:10

Indian pickles on toast with some grated cheese. Lime or chilli pickle is best.
Spam cut up into cubes with mayo and chilli sauce. Just eat it like that.
Bombay mix sandwich. Literally just bread and butter with stale Bombay mix inside.
All of these were University staple foods Grin

Lovingbenidorm · 28/11/2018 01:10

Never had a jellied eel, never had the courage 😳
