Aibu to find it weird to watch porn on a train?

So. DH travelling back today from York on the train. Women (mid 40’s in case you’re wondering) in front of him had her phone angled to the window so people passing couldn’t see. It was however, reflected in the window and DH had a clear view of her porn! Don’t get me wrong, whatever floats your boat but on a train??

I once sat next to a very well dressed man in his 50s on the train who's phone auto played whatever porn he had been watching that morning, the moaning and slapping could be heard through the whole carriage whilst he furiously tried to turn it off

There was something about is on the radio last week. British Transport Police and London Transport said this should be reported, they consider this a public order offence.

It’s gross yes. Even if you are trying to hide it you’re still watching something with the aim or feelings aroused in public. Be into what you’re into but don’t drag other people into it.

I think it should be banned and people should be prosecuted if they watch it in a public place. Infact I was shocked to learn recently that it wasn't already considered an offence.

I’m always being taken by surprise when watching a 9pm drama or a 15 film and the couple start at it. Probably more likely something like that than actual porn surely? DP and I take the iPad on long journeys and watch box sets (with headphones), so quite often end up with scenes that are a bit embarrassing in public.

Report it to British Transport police on 61016.

Like @LaurieFairyCake I would find it threatening and regard it as harassment.

It is making other people feel uncomfortable and is unacceptable. I would not want my DC to have to endure this.

Was it definitely porn? I have been watching tv on my laptop on the train before and then some wild sex scene has come on and I've thought what if someone sees and thinks I'm looking at porn.

I asked the same question about it definitely being porn.. DH said it definitely was... although he did think the same thing at first. But apparently there was a ‘money shot’
