Another christmas tree on a car roof decoration

AIBU if I kill an elf every time I see another decoration/cushion cover/whatever with a bloody Christmas tree on the car roof design? And a twee campervan is even worse.

Why does there always have to be a 'thing' every year that just swamps everything, what has happened to classic independent designs? I don't really care if anyone comes along claiming that it's so last year or whatever, there's still too much of them this year.

And yes, I'm spending too much time on the internet/television at the moment due to illness, so getting the full force of advertising that luckily I usually miss.

Never seen one of these and hope to continue this.

Nope. I've googled Christmas Tree on Car Roof and all I get is pictures of cars with real Christmas trees strapped to the roof (presumably to get them from Christmas tree vendor to home).

I think that is what’s on my sons stocking, it’s five years old and it was bought in America. You see trees on car roofs in American films but I have never seen it over here.

the one with the cat that picture is a disgrace, shame on you. Not only is there a tree on a car roof, but the tree is the wrong way round, meaning my fingers are itching to rip it off and stick it back so that it is more aerodynamic. Honestly, if you drove that car home the tree would be a mangled heap of twigs by the time you drew up outside your nodding Santa decorated front lawn.

viques - yes, yes and more yes - and the bloody television advert where someone slides down the mountain on a tree THE WRONG WAY ROUND, IT WOULD NEVER WORK, THE BRANCHES WOULD ACT AS A BRAKE!
