She’s ruining my enjoyment! She’s a professional dancer and it’s very obvious. It’s like a professional ice skater competing on Dancing on Ice, why??

I was impressed though that it seems strictly bosses/the BBC were not having that shit from him at all. He was booted out fast and far by a combination of leaked story, demanding choreography and (it looked like) judges on side. I got the impression they closed ranks around Amy.

I find Ashley pretty boring to watch - there's no evolution, she's just a DahhhnceBot.

That being said, she seems like a nice girl, saying all the right grateful things, and she has had a shit year with her Dad dying. And I am a massive fan of her strong athletic healthy looking figure.

But it's like watching a professional cheerleader. It just looks too easy to be awe inspiring.

It isn't easy though.
She just makes it look easy because she's good!

Me too. Dd and I love him from Red Dwarf and Death in Paradise. He was one of our favourites from week 1. I never thought that I'd end up being pleased that he got knocked out.

Apparentley he had a right go at his partner stormed off producers had to step in and it has just got unpleasant from there he refused to go on ITT on Monday

I'm okay with the dance training thing... I reckon most people who are performers of the actor/singer type have had some form of dance training. It's when they're good in week 1 and then just keep being good and don't struggle with any style or seem to be on a learning curve that I just get a bit bored of them. I prefer the celebs who find out they can actually dance and that they're living being part of the whole biz. Joe and Stacey this year are doing it for me. Also Charles and Lauren is so lovely in how hard she's trying. Ashley and Faye are up there in the leader board EVERY WEEK. It's all a bit yeah, yeah you're great, whatevs, next!

Although also apparently it was exaggerated. So, it depends what reporting you believe.

TBH, I think he was right - there's no way Graeme should have been put through over him. I don't think either of them were destined for the final mind you.

There's been a lot of favouritism this year I think. The marking has been utterly nuts at times.

I liked DJJ in Death in Paradise so was really pleased he was in Strictly. Very disappointed he was voted off, think his problem was he was very competitive so didn’t take it too well. I don’t think Saint Amy did herself any favours with all the turning the waterworks on either and cute little smiles with slightly trembling lip.

I agree. It isn't every year that someone is in it who is an actual dancer, who earns their living as a dancer. She was a judge on Dancing On Ice, because she was a sodding DANCER!

It pisses me off and I have an irrational hatred of her because of it.

And their children, I seem to remember Kimberley Wyatt's kids wheeled out one week for Ashley's cause.

None of them 'roll out' anything on their VTs. They do what production tells them they're doing that week.

Unless, of course, it is indeed the case that DJJ genuinely believed that wing-walking was the best possible jive preparation and he put together his own VT for that
