To me, 🤷🏻‍♀️ Says “I don’t get it, I’m not overly bothered about not getting it, and I’m not feeling anything negative towards you, I just don’t get the problem”. It’s more polite to me than a “whatever”.

I always feel a lack of one that properly reflects embarrassment but without laughing about it. If I forget to pick something up from the shop, I want to say sorry without ☺️ smiling but without going 😕 full drama!
