We're looking for a new house at the moment...

Love this house but look at pictures 18 and 19 - what on earth ?!

Imagine aiming your bum at the toilet seat and missing!

WheelchairWoes · 11/11/2018 15:29

I like the tiling in 18 and 19 but that kitchen is a mess!

GuyFawkesN1ght · 11/11/2018 15:29

😂😂😂 if I could afford that house then I’d hopefully also be able to afford a complete refurb of that room, whatever it is!!! They must have been on some 90’s rave drug when they designed that 😂😂😂

Ah I remember when I worked in Bristol. Takes a certain kind of person to live in Sneyd Park (and they usually bank with Coutts!)

IStillMissBlockbuster · 11/11/2018 15:32

I love the super tall plants. I have one similar looking but only hip high. Do you think it'll grow that tall?

Charolais · 11/11/2018 15:44

The house is lovely but the furnishings/kitchen are a tad too modern for my taste. The sauna thing is obviously for when your tripping on mushrooms.

Violetroselily · 11/11/2018 15:51

I love the polar bear watching the film

RomanyRoots · 11/11/2018 15:53

I think if you could afford that as a home you wouldn't really care about the owners possessions that would go with them.
You'd also be able to afford a decorator too.
It's lovely but I like nice small cheap houses, just as well really Grin

Petalflowers · 11/11/2018 15:53

Gorilla, polar bear missed that!

But why o why is there a picture of a bunch of grapes, or arty shot of plant pot and open door?

Sparkingfizzing · 11/11/2018 15:54

Cinema and steam room. Guessing the steam room is meant to look Turkish?

Sparkingfizzing · 11/11/2018 15:55

Personally I don't understand the kitchen

Bananalanacake · 11/11/2018 16:02

It's gorgeous. Go for it. Bet it's cheaper than a 2 bed flat in Kensington.

Dahlietta · 11/11/2018 16:03

I don't mind the crazy tiling as much as the conference room (that I presume is actually a dining room...)

Dontsweatthelittlestuff · 11/11/2018 16:04

I could live there for the views alone. I think the kitchen is fine, plenty of space for informal entertaining and I wouldn’t say no to a steam room even if the tiles are a bit bizarre.

BlackAmericanoNoSugar · 11/11/2018 16:05

I think every large and beautiful house should have a badly situated bedroom next to a really ugly and uncomfortable bathroom for those guests that you don't want to stay too long. Grin

Birdie6 · 11/11/2018 16:06

Its a sauna. The bowl in the middle is for putting water onto the hot stones - which makes steam.

blackchina · 11/11/2018 16:19

What's pic 26 about?

Did they seriously put a pic of a bunch of grapes?! Confused

Pics 18 and 19.!!!!!! MY EYES! Confused

JimmyJones · 11/11/2018 16:24

The kitchen looks like an ‘Eaterie’-type place where they cook the food in front of you while you stand there with a tray.

ShalomJackie · 11/11/2018 16:29

The hammam room you usually use in the dark though so you don't need to look at it

Puzzledandpissedoff · 11/11/2018 16:32

That's a home cinema. It's meant to look like a cinema. It's not meant to look like a torture chamber... I think

It looks like the inside of someone's stomach to me ...

eurochick · 11/11/2018 16:36

I think the grapes are to draw attention to the fact that it comes with a vineyard...

StoneofDestiny · 11/11/2018 17:08

Weirdest thing is the rest of the house is just a festival of beige!

longwayoff · 11/11/2018 17:12

Lovely house. Nothing a little cash can't fix

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 11/11/2018 17:18

Gorgeous house but very greige

Scandie · 11/11/2018 17:26

That is a home cinema and a steam room. That’s all.
