The fabric kind? Also pram shoes? I've been judged massively for both recently and want to ask other mums :/

I inwardly judge, inwardly grimace, inwardly eye roll and inwardly laugh when I see a baby with a headband on. Outwards I smile and tell them how cute their baby is and how much I like their headband Grin

It baffles me how anyone can think they look good - they’re horrendous!

I come across a LOT of babies in my line of work and I’ve yet to see one who looks good in a headband Grin

They look awful. So tacky. I knew one woman who was a lawyer, as was her husband and they put one on their daughter. They did not live in social housing nor were they working class. They were just tacky. In my view obviously. Tackiness knows no class divide.

To be honest I judged based on that even before I joined mn. Headbands on babies look plain daft and tacky. Shoes are ok imo as no one can see them and they serve a purpose (kinda) to keep little feet warm. I didn't use either for my DD.

Not sure why this discussion is still rumbling on in the chav/non-chav/fashion groove when it's established that headbands can kill babies

Why would anyone want to take the risk given that these items serve no useful purpose either?
