Hot ribena (full sugar) and home made leek and potato soup. Or a nice jacket potato, scoop the filling out and mix with cheese and bacon and put back in for ten mins. Lush.

SneakyGremlins · 08/11/2018 18:28

I'm sure the local shops only have sugar free Ribena now Sad

Sourdough toasts slathered in ricotta and topped with red onions (caramelised in apple cider vinegar and maple syrup) and roasted butternut squash.

Eifla · 08/11/2018 19:22

Winter Spice Ribena, served hot.
Sainsbury’s bakery mince pies.
Chicken & veg pie, roasties & lashings of gravy.

Cake and custard. Yum!

Celebelly · 08/11/2018 19:24

Mulled apple juice! We've just started having it again.

Apple juice, orange peel, lemon peel, honey, a cinnamon stick - bung it all in a pan and heat. Strain and serve.

LizzieBennettDarcy · 08/11/2018 19:24

Oven baked jacket potatoes..... oozing with melted brie and cranberry sauce, or pesto and mozzarella pearls... and huge pots of home made soup.

Allchangehere346 · 08/11/2018 19:25

A roasting hot, creamy, mushroom soup.

Or cheese with a variety of chutneys and crackers drools

I’m on Slimming world so both are out of the fucking question Angry

Cheese on toast and a bowl of tomato soup.

Homemade cottage pie with carrots and peas and extra gravy.

Toasted muffins topped with salted butter and slices of strong cheddar and a milky coffee for breakfast.

puzzledlady · 08/11/2018 19:35

PumpkinPie2016 · 08/11/2018 19:39

Mulled wine Wine

OneStepMoreFun · 08/11/2018 19:41

Spiced hot milk. Whisk it up with a few drops of vanilla essence, and pinches of cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg. Add sugar or honey or sweeteners if you want to, but it tastes great without them.

Goulash with mash or beef stew with dumplings are really warming
So is home made apple crumble and custard or sticky toffee pudding and sauce.
