How's your Monday treated you?

Had a really busy monday and have managed to get myself locked out of home potentially until quite late. I've just had to go to costa oh the hardship! How's your day been?

Not bad I suppose. Work crush isn't in the office though

I have travelled a long way to see a young woman who was a foster child of mine. She has not long started her first job and is renting her first flat. Everything is difficult for her the hours, the travel, the rent and the loneliness.
However she is tackling it with great determination and honesty. I wanted to scoop her up and bring her home so I am so proud of her and humbled. My little girl abandoned by everyone making a future that can’t be messed up by anyone.

It's been good. DD1 and I have a day off work/school so we went out for lunch then walked DD2 and her class up to swimming, watched them swim, and walked them back again. Then DD1 and I went to see Crazy Rich Asians at the cinema. It was ok I suppose but nice spending time just with DD1. Back to the reality of school & work tomorrow - booooooo......!

And if my day weren't bad enough I've got thrush

Impossible to say without being a foul show off, but mine started with sex, then scrambled eggs and smoked salmon in a glasshouse overlooking a loch, then a walk on a perfect white sand beach watching an otter and a handful of seals, then a drive through a seriously magnificent landscape, then fresh scallops in garlic butter, then a whisky by an open fire while reading my book.

But I am on holiday and this is so far from a normal Monday...
