Help! Do you like the name Fraser or Wren? His first name is Fraser and middle name Wren so he’s Fraser Wren. I’ve been wondering if going by his middle name Wren might be a better choice. Let me know what you think. Many thanks in advance.

I personally prefer Fraser and don't like wren in the slightest. You will of course get all sorts of answers as everyone will have different opinions

Solenti · 03/11/2018 22:02

Not for me (particularly not Wren) but it's your choice, if you like it go with it. You don't need the validation of lots of strangers.

Disfordarkchocolate · 03/11/2018 22:06

The only Wrens I have I heard of have been girls.

Blanchedupetitpois · 03/11/2018 22:09

Wren is absurd, even as a middle name. Fraser is nice.

weegiemum · 03/11/2018 22:10

I like Fraser, don't like Wren at all, sorry!

Darkstar4855 · 03/11/2018 22:12

Fraser is nice. Wren is a slightly odd choice for a boy though - I think I would stick with calling him Fraser.

RiverTam · 03/11/2018 22:14

The only Wren I know is a girl, not keen on it either way. Stick with Fraser.

Kitsandkids · 03/11/2018 22:59

I know a male Wren. I think it’s an ok name but not something I’d personally use for a child.

steff13 · 03/11/2018 23:02

I thought Wren was a 🐦. I like Fraser. Although I'd spell it Frasier.

TestingTestingWonTooFree · 03/11/2018 23:03

Only Wren I know is a girl.

MacosieAsunter · 03/11/2018 23:03

Your choice I suppose, just as well we don't all like the same thing, neither are names I'd use. Frasier is marginally better than Wren, which I've never heard of other then L'wren .

CrazySheepLady · 03/11/2018 23:06

Fraser is a lovely name (and popular here in Scotland) but Wren is a girl's name.

StepAwayFromGoogle · 03/11/2018 23:08

@steff13 - Frasier and Fraser are different names and pronounced differently - Frase-ure and Frase-uh.

Sweetcarolsofine · 03/11/2018 23:09

Go for L’Wren

19lottie82 · 03/11/2018 23:17

Wren? That’s just horrendous! Just....... why? (Sorry)

Thehop · 03/11/2018 23:18

Wren is a girls name. Ren is the boys.

JosellaPlayton · 03/11/2018 23:20

Wren is a girl’s name. So if you’ve had a boy I’d definitely stick with Fraser, get rid of Wren and pick a different middle name.

chrisinthesun · 03/11/2018 23:25

Don't like either one. Wren is the worst.

Yellowcar2 · 03/11/2018 23:29

Wren is absolutely fine! So is fraser. Name him whatever you like but make sure YOU like it as you'll same that name 100 times a day.
Good luck

steff13 · 03/11/2018 23:40

StepAwayFromGoogle

They both have an "r" on the end, why would one be pronounced "uh?"

emss55 · 03/11/2018 23:46

Fraser is a lovely name. Sorry, only Wren I've heard is a girls name or a bird. Think he would be bullied if you called him Wren though it's your choice.

plaidlife · 03/11/2018 23:47

I like both names but have only heard of wren being used as a girl's name,

Onemorefireball · 03/11/2018 23:53

I like seen, but to me it is definitely a girls name.

Onemorefireball · 03/11/2018 23:53

*wren

LuvSmallDogs · 04/11/2018 01:13

Neither are to my taste, but Wren is particularly odd. I’ve never heard of it for a male, and would probably assume it was Ren short for Rene.
