Spellings that make you cringe

I know some people can't help it, I get that.

BUT I've just seen a photo on FB of a Mum & daughter and someone has comment 'so pressures' - I am assuming they mean precious!!

Any other classics you've seen?

Swop instead of swap.
I know they are both accepted spellings but the first one sets my teeth on edge.

Gawjus. Does my head in!

Also “sneak peak” instead of “sneak peek”. And “would of” instead of “would have”.

Wandering for wondering
Que / queue instead of 'cue', e.g. "...queue him entering all guns blazing"

Wa-la. It's French. It's fucking voilà. I don't even care if there's an accent or not but wa-la or wah-la or ay wa la is just awful

I saw someone in a FB group earlier write ‘I conquer’ when they meant ‘I concur’.

I know some people are dyslexic, but everyone who can’t spell can’t be. Education must be really bad in some places.

Swop isn't an accepted spelling in my book.

Gosh yes, GearChange. I remember being very shocked at reading that a friend had been given "all the antidepressants, therapy, ect" for her PND.

Also, sandwhiches.

I am militant about apostrophes. I cross them out on signs or add them on if they’re missing. And I don’t care who sees me.

My MIL comments on pictures etc with
'Are isn't she cute'
And it gives me rage so so bad.

Type awww, rrrrr or ya know just type 'isn't she cute'
But ARE is a word not a sound.
