I'm Scottish. We say tea.
I am having Indonesian noodle dish and some red wine.
Mostly excited about the red wine haha.
How about you? What are you'd having/had?

Anyone else enjoying some wine this Saturday night?

A sad and lonely tin of soup 😭

Amanduh · 27/10/2018 20:23

Fish and Chips from the chip shop... was beauuuuutiful.

Catsandbootsandbootsandcats · 27/10/2018 20:24

Sausages, mash and beans. Perfect food for a cold evening.

Freyanna · 27/10/2018 20:32

I say 'tea', North East Scotland.

I had an M & S ready meal of salmon, potatoes, green beans and broccoli in a watercress sauce. It was yummy.

Howdoyoudoit31 · 27/10/2018 20:32

I had a chocolate chip cookie. I’m calorie counting and it was 310 calories and I had 400 left and really wanted it.

No alcohol as I don’t really drink at home apart from a night out with the girls.

I’m actually surprised at the amount of people that drink at home on a Saturday night.

DioneTheDiabolist · 27/10/2018 20:37

NI and it's Dinner here, despite Yorkshire born DP calling it Tea.Halloween Hmm We had boiled ham, cabbage and mash with parsley sauce and honey mustard sauce.

Raven88 · 27/10/2018 20:37

I had veg casserole, I buy the cheap packs of veg for soup/casserole and and miso paste and broil them until soft. I had bake at home rolls with it. I am at work for 15 hours so I make it in the morning and eat it for both meals.

Nottheduchessoftransiyvaniaaaa · 27/10/2018 20:40

I’m Welsh and we say tea. We had chicken shish takeaway.

BillyAndTheSillies · 27/10/2018 20:45

Waiting on Deliveroo to turn up with Burger King. Poorly DS and DH working today so no time to go and grab food to cook.

Donthugmeimscared · 27/10/2018 20:48

I'm from Surrey and I say tea.

I had soup and toast as I was rushing out with the kids to a Halloween party.

GemmeFatale · 27/10/2018 21:00

@lisaloo15 some of the non alcoholic ciders are ok, the fruit ones taste exactly the same to me (but unfortunately I’m not a fan).

QueenofallIsee · 27/10/2018 21:01

I have just eaten beef stew and dumplings with cheesy mash and a warm bread roll.

Stick a fork in me, I’m done Smile

Cambalamb · 27/10/2018 21:02

I'm surprised at the people that don't. It's the weekend therefore people unwind often with a glass or two.

IHaveBrilloHair · 27/10/2018 21:04

It's Saturday night, a few drinks is fine!

Snog · 27/10/2018 21:07

Chicken thighs wrapped in bacon and stuffed with goats cheese, with broccoli and carrots made by dh - low carb.
I'm in England - I call it dinner, dh calls it supper. He is posher than me.

Mammyloveswine · 27/10/2018 21:07

We had Chinese... Beef in black bean sauce, egg fried rice, salt and chilli chicken and salt and chilli chips... I'm doing slimming world so went waaayyy over my syns however I had a nightmare afternoon involving a 2 hour walk home pushing the double pram so i figure it was earned!

Mammyloveswine · 27/10/2018 21:07

Oh have had a glass of wine and just poured another! Cheers everyone!

Snog · 27/10/2018 21:08

Shockers · 27/10/2018 21:08

I’d really like a glass of wine right now, but I’ve had to settle for liquorice tea.

tillytrotter1 · 27/10/2018 21:08

Beef Stroganoff, lovely.

LondonLassInTheCountry · 27/10/2018 21:10

For a massive change we ate early and were fatty bums

Scrambled egg. Grilled bacon. Frankfurters.
Baked new potatoes and tinned tomatoes

Growingboys · 27/10/2018 21:10

I had homemade baba ganoush, toasted pitta and tomato salad.

No wine as I'm home alone tonight and want a good night's sleep. Worst thing about being 40s is how wine interferes with your sleep!

Growingboys · 27/10/2018 21:10

PS I call it supper

3TresTrois · 27/10/2018 21:11

We had enormous Italian restaurant lunch so didn’t feel like dinner.

Just has cheesecake & wine, though 😆

Thecurtainsofdestiny · 27/10/2018 21:48

Veg/bean pie with steamed new potatoes, roasted veg, kale and garlic flatbreads.

And wine.

And rum...
