I'm Scottish. We say tea.
I am having Indonesian noodle dish and some red wine.
Mostly excited about the red wine haha.
How about you? What are you'd having/had?

Anyone else enjoying some wine this Saturday night?

Konoha · 27/10/2018 18:48

Fake chicken, mozzarella and pasta in a tomato passata sauce.

Mummyundecided · 27/10/2018 18:49

DavetheCat2001 · 27/10/2018 18:52

I am making a chicken and vegetable casserole with brown rice.

I am hungover to fuck.

GeoEm · 27/10/2018 18:52

@GruciusMalfoy I've never met any Scottish people that said dinner! My husbands family do but they are English born and moved to Scotland.

Everyone's food sounds good and the wine is always a good add on to the meal.

Thanks for responses everyone.

Scottish and it's dinner for me.. Jasmine rice with stir fried brussel sprouts with lots of garlic and black pepper. A fried egg on top and sesame oil and soy sauce drizzled over then some sesame seeds sprinkled on top. I can't get enough dark green vegetables at the moment. Also sticky rice.

TheWickedWitchofWestYorkshire · 27/10/2018 18:54

I haven't had tea yet but I'm having a frozen pizza.
For dinner I had creamed garlic on bruschetta made by dh.

GreenTurtle1 · 27/10/2018 18:55

Chunky soup and crusty bread warm from the oven

ListenLinda · 27/10/2018 18:55

Oh gosh reading this thread has made me realise how hungry I am!

In England, say tea here.
Dominoes on the way. Should arrive same time as DH is here, which is good because then i don’t need to get off the sofa 😁

SquirreledIn · 27/10/2018 18:56

Everyone I know in my part of Scotland says dinner. (Glasgow and East Dunbartonshire)

LadyFidgetAndHerHandbag · 27/10/2018 18:56

Thanks Cambalamb luckily my husband is looking after me as I'd barely be able to make some toast if I was on my own. I think I'll go to bed once strictly is over.

MicroManaged · 27/10/2018 18:56

Chicken stir fry here

YouTheCat · 27/10/2018 18:57

We were going to go out to a local Italian but no one is well enough. So ordered in burgers from Five Guys. Glorious! Grin

Shockers · 27/10/2018 18:57

I’m trying some mushroom, Stilton and cranberry parcels from Aldi. I’ve done roast new potatoes with rosemary, carrots and cauliflower to go with them.

I’ll let you know if they were any good after tea (Lancashire).

needsanewname · 27/10/2018 18:57

Yorkshire, we say tea too!

Quorn chicken curry, rice and a mini naan bread, with a glass of red wine.

LadyFidgetAndHerHandbag · 27/10/2018 18:57

I'm from East Anglia and was brought up with tea for children and dinner for adults (my mum is posh). Husband is from the Midlands and said tea till I trained him up ;)

billysboy · 27/10/2018 18:58

nokidshere · 27/10/2018 19:00

Me and ds2 are having a kebab/burgers delivered soon! Dh will potter about in the kitchen and make himself something veggie. Red wine too.

RTFT · 27/10/2018 19:01

Lamb shanks, mashed potatoes and green beans/peas/broccoli with mint gravy.

Chrystal1982 · 27/10/2018 19:02

Fish fingers, beans and jacket potatoes, bit crap but all 5 kids ate it all 🤷🏻‍♀️

phantomofthenorthlaine · 27/10/2018 19:02

Roasted pork loin with chips (DH made it and could not be bothered with roast potatoes apparently & had bought beef dripping chips from M&S which everyone found quite funny) with gravy & veggies. So yes, chips and gravy. It was delicious, especially as I had nothing to do with making it except bunging pork in the oven!

OopsPardonMrsArden · 27/10/2018 19:03

Herby greek chicken with veg couscous, tzatziki and pitta (jamie oliver recipe ). I say dinner, DH says tea and neither of us will budge an inch on this.
