I'm Scottish. We say tea.
I am having Indonesian noodle dish and some red wine.
Mostly excited about the red wine haha.
How about you? What are you'd having/had?

Anyone else enjoying some wine this Saturday night?

I used to say tea as a child up North, but I've been influenced by the South to say dinner most of the time. I had chicken pie and veg.

HicDraconis · 27/10/2018 19:06

We had beef burgers with chips and beans for the boys and coleslaw / salad for me & DH.

Tonight is roast pork because Sunday.

SinglePringle · 27/10/2018 19:11

Currently soaking in a hot hot candle lit bath (that I keep topping up to boiling) with Craig Charles on the radio and a G&T whilst the lamb curry I’ve made summers away. Will be consumed with a big glass of red (several, likely) whilst watching Strictly.

My ideal Sat night!

MamaHechtick · 27/10/2018 19:12

Born and raised in the south east but by one northern parent, I say both dinner and tea.

Tonight we had homemade pasta bake followed by warm puff pastry mince pies and ice cream. I'm now laying down as I've been on my feet all afternoon in the kitchen.

Monkfish wrapped in prosciutto in the oven served with chips so posh fish and chips!
Lots of cold crisp white wine will be consumed!

FissionChips · 27/10/2018 19:25

Toast and a cup of tea.

PlugUgly1980 · 27/10/2018 19:31

Homemade cottage pie, carrots, broccoli and cauliflower with gravy, followed by a tin of rice pudding. Proper winter's tea, as it's cold and sleety here.

Frankswife87 · 27/10/2018 19:33

I'm near the borders, tea for us , spaghetti Bolognese currently simmering 😋

SherlockHolmes · 27/10/2018 19:33

Homemade chicken tikka masala, with homemade naan. And homemade sag dal. (Polishes halo). Absolutely delicious.

And did I mention it was homemade?

lilyheather1 · 27/10/2018 19:35

I had some frosted Shreddies. No regrets.

SealSong · 27/10/2018 19:41

Just about to have cheese and spinach omlette, tomato salad and home made chunky chips made the proper chip pan way, can't wait.

BadHairDyeDay · 27/10/2018 19:45

Sausages, egg, potato bread, soda bread & beans yum yum

SoyDora · 27/10/2018 19:49

Nothing yet, too early! Just about to have a bath while DH cooks chicken jalfrezi.

IHaveBrilloHair · 27/10/2018 19:51

I love plain shreddies with carnations milk.

IncyWincyGrownUp · 27/10/2018 19:53

I’ve got the sick bug, so ordered pizza for everyone else in order to minimise the chance of sharing the germs.

IncyWincyGrownUp · 27/10/2018 19:54

I’m going to have a cup of tea in a bit. Hopefully.

LePetitPont · 27/10/2018 19:57

Tea here in Yorkshire! Only if we are going out does it become dinner. We had homemade pizza and salad. Just cracked open some montepulciano d’abruzzo now the boys are in bed. Just waiting for my husband to come back downstairs to start strictly! May rifle through DS’s party bag from this afternoon for dessert...

Icklepup · 27/10/2018 19:59

Spaghetti bolognese!! :)

Giggorata · 27/10/2018 19:59

We're clearing out the freezer, so there are some interesting combinations. I had anchovies on toasted olive bread, followed by a little quince jelly and cream.
DH is out and will have fried sprats with Bombay potatoes and spicy veg when he returns.

vgiraffe · 27/10/2018 20:00

We had an early dinner at KFC and DH is now cooking us a second dinner (stuffed peppers) Grin Pregnant so no wine for me but I really want a glass now!

GemmeFatale · 27/10/2018 20:01

I’m making jacket potatoes and venison stew; however I’m in the first trimester and the nausea is strong so I might end up with another packet of mini cheddars (one of the few things I can reliably eat - poor baby will have scurvy at this rate).

Pardalis · 27/10/2018 20:07

Beef casserole that I put in the slow cooker at 1am after a night out. Thought it was a good idea at the time and it turns out it was an amazing idea!!

I bought a wonky veg box at Asda today that has some lovely squashes in it so I'm spending the evening making soup for lunches. How very smug. 😂😂

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 27/10/2018 20:11

We had pizza, garlic bread and crudités. I had and still have wine. DH had and still has beer. The DC had cola because it's Saturday night.

Lisaloo15 · 27/10/2018 20:15

For tea we had gammon with honey glaze, mash, mashed neep, carrots and paranip. Was lovely! Now I'm contemplating ice cream or chocolate! No alcohol here as pregnant but could murder a cider if I wasn't!

Bluearsedfly36 · 27/10/2018 20:19

Stir fry, chicken, oyster and spring onion sauce, noodles and veggies.
