DD (9) doesn't have a list nor know what she wants!

I was thinking of a wireless speaker for her phone, some crafty bits, bath bombs etc.

I have a baby boy also and he will have a token couple of things like maybe a keepsake moneybox or something?

What are you getting your DCs?

My DS turned 4 just last week so he already got toys that he's been wanting and now I'm unsure of what to get him for Christmas, but no doubt it will be something Marvel... he's Superhero mad

10 yr old DD is having Gravitrax and Thames and Kosmos science kit.

6 yr old DD wants this LOL case thingy (£85 Confused) and I’ll find something else she’d like.

8 yr old DS I have absolutely no ideas for.

18m old DS will have a little climbing frame or slide and a couple of token things.

Cagliostro · 23/10/2018 20:52

PS4 as the main present for me DH 11yo 9yo. Some toys too as I’m not having a Christmas without toys! But also they are hopefully getting their rooms painted and so maybe things like geeky cushions will be included.

DD2 will be 14 months and I am thinking of getting her some toy animals and ideally a Spectra rocker or Pikler frame but they are £££

PhilomenaDeathsHeadHawkMoth · 23/10/2018 20:53

whycantyouusethephone · 23/10/2018 21:01

Dd 10- shopkins, a chemistry set and heelys

Dd 8- heelys, hatchimal and a bike

I'm very poor and have saved for ages to get this stuff (the chemistry set and bike are second hand), am always amazed and slightly downhearted by these threads. Kids get so much now, at such a young age. I fear that come the teen years I will be completely unable to match their peers in any way.

HighwayDragon1 · 23/10/2018 21:07

DD 8
Adidas stuff
TV and steam link so she can game in her room
Pomsie
Wrapple
Harry Potter Lego
LOL surprise
More LOL
Even more LOL

ForgotwhatIcameinherefor · 23/10/2018 21:10

If that’s how you feel whycantyouusethephone then I’m surprised you’re getting DD8 both heelys AND a bike. Second hand or not, seems like overkill to me - in my opinion they are both a “main” present. Why not save the bike for her birthday?
Please don’t say it’s because the second hand bike costs same as shopkins or whatever... that’s not what it’s about.

YouBetterWOooOooOoo · 23/10/2018 21:13

DD who will be 10 months, as weird as this sounds....a ukulele. She loves her grandpa's guitar and it's around the same price as a toy one except we'll be able to play songs to her on it (as well as watch her strum etc) as it's a proper musical instrument.

That's all she's getting off us, as it's 1st Christmas she'll have loads of stuff from family so we didn't want to go ott.

ColourMeGreen · 23/10/2018 21:15

Puddingmama2017 · 23/10/2018 21:17

whycantyouusethephone

I’ve spent years buying mounds of stuff for my kids and now learnt the error of my ways. I’ve been very clear on the two presents each, because actually they don’t need or want more and I’d rather they learn now how to enjoy the intended spirit of the day.

I wish you and your DDs a really lovely Xmas. Good to know my 10yr old DD isn’t the only science enthusiast!

Escolar · 23/10/2018 21:22

Xbox (as apparently they are the only DC in the world without a console)
Also thinking about a Lucky Voice karaoke app subscription
