I think she is beautiful and he seems like a nice chap. I wish them a long and happy life with their child/ren.

But for the love of God, could they stop holding hands - they're not on a date, they're carrying out official business!

Makes me cringe, so it does.

I know it is a surprise as usually it is only couples who probably have or had much more difficulty finding partners who do this, but why anyone would be upset is beyond me. I thought the idea of an English person expressing emotion or feelings in public being something we just don't do ended in 1990, or at least 1997.
