I think she is beautiful and he seems like a nice chap. I wish them a long and happy life with their child/ren.

But for the love of God, could they stop holding hands - they're not on a date, they're carrying out official business!

Makes me cringe, so it does.

The Queen is not holding hands in the same way at all. She is being escorted in a chivalrous fashion by Prince Philip.

But you know that.

SilentIsla · 22/10/2018 15:51

Jesus H Christ? What a charming manner of speaking.

SilentIsla · 22/10/2018 15:52

Imagine calling other people “jealous”
etc!?

Mad as a box of frogs.

MargaretDribble · 22/10/2018 15:52

At least they are only holding hands.

WailingWinteriscomingbella · 22/10/2018 15:54

SilentIsla Whats your point? is the poor christian offended?

SilentIsla · 22/10/2018 15:55

Just made me cringe - on your behalf.

BoyMad · 22/10/2018 15:55

Theresa May held hands with Trump!

^ This made me laugh. Even Trump's wife Melanie doesn't want to hold his hand or be anywhere near him most of the time. Another reason why I think Theresa May is bats crazy. Grin

I will always reserve the right to point out nonsense when I see it and this is it. Yous don't know your born at all

justfloatingpast · 22/10/2018 15:57

You sound a lot more worked up than the OP Wailingwinter

WailingWinteriscomingbella · 22/10/2018 15:57

I'm perfectly you don't need to be cringing about me your the one annoyed about a normal turn of phrase

Bluelady · 22/10/2018 16:09

Bloody hell, a cat fight over a bit of hand holding. This place never ceases to amaze me.

LyingWitchInTheWardrobe2726 · 22/10/2018 16:11

Do you realise what a stupid post that was OP? Why must they stop holding hands when you could simply not look/scrutinise/draw attention to yourself doing that?

Stop looking at them, fool!

12FreeRangeEggs · 22/10/2018 16:15

Yea it is starting to bug me too. I like Megan but i feel that she is starting to come across as a bit possessive. When on royal duties they are our Royal family. The hand holding sends this “he’s all mine!” message.

Dodie66 · 22/10/2018 16:16

Why should th royal family be different to the rest of us? They are human too. I hold hands with my hubby all the time. I’m 67 and think it’s lovely to see young people in love and holding hands,

Jesus H Christ 😏 there’s some utter cranks on this website I swear.

QueSera · 22/10/2018 16:17

I think it's lovely that they hold hands. They are a couple. They are on official business, but they are doing so as a couple. They are setting a lovely example of what a loving, caring, affectionate relationship looks like.
It's not like they're heavy petting in public.

dontalltalkatonce · 22/10/2018 16:17

Who gives a fuck about this family of spongers?

'I think it's lovely that they hold hands. They are a couple. They are on official business, but they are doing so as a couple.'

So what though. I used to work in the same industry as my DH, we managed to work all day alongside each other without constant hand holding. There's no need it just makes them look like they're both a bit clingy.

Tink2007 · 22/10/2018 17:17

For the love of God, can they do anything right? You can guarantee if they had even as much as a ten centimetre gap between them the press would be likening their relationship to the end months of Charles and Diana’s marriage.

Ita lovely they hold hands - tbh I hadn’t given it any thought at all anyway but they are happy, in love, the monarchy is of a different time now. Happiness and love is sometimes hard to find in the bitter darkness the world spews, leave them to it.

SleepingStandingUp · 22/10/2018 17:24

But it's very unlikely that part of your job involves showing off your relationship. Theirs does. That's why when both Prince's got married they got deny on a Royal tour.

Bloody hell it’s not like they’re fucking up against the cenotaph!

HurricaneFliss · 22/10/2018 17:32

HeckyPeck - what a vulgar thing to say.

SoupDragon · 22/10/2018 17:35

I don't think it's vulgar' I think it's a fair point. They're holding hands. That's all.
