To ask if everyones hair is a bit shit without styling?

Mine is awful! Quite coarse and lank, I was bitching to my mum about it and she said its because i just wash and condition and then leave it to airdry.

She reckons most peoples hair needs at least a little product and to be at least blow dryed to look decent.

I have thick coarse hair and mine definitely needs product but not necessarily a blow dry to look smooth and shiny.

I tried that clay shampoo and it didn't work for me at all. It felt like that time we demolished a chimney and my hair was full of brick dust...

Yep, my hair felt like pubes after using that clay stuff

God if I leave mine to air dry it is course and puffy! If I blow dry and then straighten it is soft and sleek.

Mine is awful not styled not straight and not curly and big in a gauche way.
Dd1 Hair is best left just hippy and wavy.
Dd2 Hair is dead straight and thick it's lovely. I dry it and it stays straight until we next wash it. Doesn't even curl up if it air dries!

Some of you might find that co-washing reduces the need for lots of styling. It works well on my fine hair even though I think it was originally devised for thick curly hair.
