The consultation on whether to allow any man to self identify as a woman closes at 11pm tomorrow. If we allow this to happen, we will never be able to put the genie back in the bottle when more women and girls are harmed.

Thank you @Beesandfrogsandfleas

My only issue is I am not very good with words and want to get this right so people understand what I am saying and don't take it the wrong way if you know what I mean.

I suggest:
It is estimated that 80% of men who 'identify' as women retain their most male characteristic i.e. their penis.
Do you really think that women have penises?
Let the Government know your views (before 11pm tonight!).

Thank you for posting this. I gave up trying to download the full questionnaire and completed the one click link. Very quick and easy.

Could anyone help me articulate a good wording for me to share the post to facebook?

I just posted that I wanted to stand up for women's rights and that if anyone disagreed with me, could they please contact me personally as I respect their opinion but would like to explain my position.

Ereshkigal · 19/10/2018 11:52

My Facebook is locked down and only people I know personally though.

This is what I wrote in my Facebook page when sharing the FOFW one-click link

“It is not transphobic to want to discuss and debate the implications of the GRA.

It is not transphobic to say women and girls deserve to be safe and that sex-segregated spaces are an essential part of this.

It is not transphobic to say that male-bodied trans-women do not belong in women’s prisons.

And it is not transphobic to say that women’s sport should be for women only.

Please let the Government know how you feel and complete the consultation form”

Done. Was it too late?

ShovingLeopard · 19/10/2018 12:17

Done. I wanted to make my own responses to the questions, but the gov site is so slow it was impossible, so I did the one click via Fair Play for Women instead. Their responses chimed with mine anyway.

RoboticSealpup · 19/10/2018 12:18
