To remind you there are 24 hours left to save women only spaces

The consultation on whether to allow any man to self identify as a woman closes at 11pm tomorrow. If we allow this to happen, we will never be able to put the genie back in the bottle when more women and girls are harmed.

Female spaces and sports have already gone unfortunately. But it’s important to stop self id now and then start questioning the whole idea that sex can be changed and that gender identity trumps biological sex.

@Sarahjconnor...this is a UK issue, so for women living in the UK. Anyone being interested enough to live in the UK should surely be able to understand English...no ?

Done. I know there are many arguments for self identification and many against .

But what it comes down to for me is that if you identify as a women you just can’t immediately expect to be a woman, and all that it entails .

You miss the formative years growing up as a girl/ woman. If you really do identify as a woman you understand that you can’t immediately be a women. You understand the feelings of women and therefore understand why many woman would be against self identification. You obviously still want to be identified as a woman but you are understanding about the worries of women. Because that is how women think, that is how you think of you really identify as a woman. If up transition into being a woman, presumably you are not going to think about things so differently from women. You are going to be concerned aborted erosion of the rights of women.

As for sporting events, men who have transitioned should absolutely not, ever , be allowed to compete. Sometimes you have to accept in life there are things you cannot do. If you have transitioned then that is one of the things you have to accept.

I wouldn't want to have unisex toilets like I hear about sometimes now. I don't see why we have to. I think it's weird coming out and a man being there
