He doesn't like after eights! (lighthearted)

Just that simply. My partner thinks after eights are weird. He also doesn't like fish, any kind of fish. I think this isn't meant to be.

Does he eat traditional fish and chips? I know several people who don't like fish, but will happily have a chippy dinner!

Freeze them? Never tried that. Not sure how that makes them better, I couldn't eat as many at once if they were frozen. Grin

I know, I shouldn't complain it is more for me. But he is a weirdo. Grin

leeds2 nah. I think he will eat fish fingers, but that's it. I got him to try salmon once and he hated it. He also doesn't like pineapple on pizza, but thinks sweetcorn on pizza is normal. Dunno what I see in him.

After Eights are horrible- along with Ferrero Roche they are an affront to chocolate.

Ferrero Rocher are dreadful! Wouldn't touch with a barge pole.

Don't like pineapple on pizza either. But don't see anything wrong with sweetcorn.

After Eights used to be much nicer I think, thicker chocolate and a smoother filling. I don't like them any more anyway.

Give me a Bendick's Bittermint any day.

I’m totally with him on the fish - haven never found a fish I like - not chippy fish, not fish fingers, not smoked salmon, not fancy tuna steak - nothing.

After Eights though he is absolutely unreasonable about! True Story: DS was 9mths old on his first Christmas and we gave him a packet of milkybar buttons in his stocking - his first taste of chocolate. He ate one and spat it out with a proper horrified face on him! I thought there was something wrong with him - who doesn’t like chocolate?!?! Later that day though he took an after eight out of my mum’s hand and wolfed it down with the biggest grin on his face. Clearly just refined tastes - even as a baby 😂

But milky bar chocolate is yummy. I love white chocolate. Did get addicted to it at one point, could only eat white chocolate, not milk or dark. My body just craved the stuff.
