Or do u stick to a branded one. Want to re paint DS room just as a tidy up. But b&q, is on a major road closure / roadwork route so don't fancy sitting in traffic to get there unless u have to?

Used Wilkinson paint on all 4 houses.
Did try some more expensive paint for 3rd house but found it really runny.
Took it all back and got wilko paint again.
Use silk. Use 2 coats. Looks great.

I decorated my dd’s room with it. It took two coats going over cream walls but went on smoothly. No issues with it and would buy again.

We used it in one room. The finish and colour were nice in the end but we needed three coats to stop it being patchy and it was a pain to apply - really thick, sticky and plasticky as pp have mentioned. It was also really hard to clean off the brush and roller.

We’ve redecorated our whole house in the last few months and it was definitely the worst paint to apply compared with Valspar, Dulux, Farrow and Ball and B&Q own brand.

I should add, we were painting over white so it really should have been a lot easier than it was! It does look good in the end though.

I have noticed it in a few houses. Not sure why I notice it (landlords tend to leave part used cans for tenants to use/match) but their magnolia seems to be very custard like!

That has put me off!

@MakeAHouseAHome The flat matt range is excellent. Some good Farrow & Ball dupes amongst them.
