To really hate polo shirts on men

Just that really. Maybe it's because I associate polos with primary age children or usually those wearing polos are the overly loud groups in the pub. I can just about tolerate polo shirts for those playing golf/watersports but that's about it.

I've been seeing a guy for around 6/7 months and a polo shirt is his staple wardrobe with t-shirts. He's also the only male in the office who wears a polo over a shirt. He's now mentioned that in the winter he has a few blazers to go over his polos and that's the final straw for me. I know I can't tell him how much I hate them but if I didn't love him I would have finished it because of his style long ago.

I'm very prepared to get flamed over this - I just needed to vent.

My husband has never worn a polo shirt in the 20 years we’ve been together. If he did, I’d think he had taken ill...I can’t even picture him in one. Well, I can...but it’s weird, very weird. I don’t like it.

He tends to wear t-shirts but quality ones...he’ll have five t-shirts that that maybe cost a bit more but wash well and retain their shape, over a stack of cheapies. Other than that he’s in a flannel checked shirt.

My 17 yr old son likes a polo and does rock them with skinnies...but he’s young and beautiful and would look good in a black bag.

Polo shirts? Depends on the fit and quality...

Short sleeved shirts... Esp with epaulettes.... Unless you're a cop/military...seriously naff!

Two things that make me queasy - Joe Swash and v neck tees. Here is the combo together. Double quease.
