To be mortified I just shouted 'fuck off you cunt' at my boss.

Bad day, terrible even. Was in a foul mood walking home from work. Crossing road at a T junction with my head down and a car beeped at me as it turned in to the minor road.
Assuming it was an impatient driver who honked at me to get out of the way, I looked up and shouted at the top of my voice 'FUCK OFF YOU CUNT!'
As the last word left my mouth I realised it was my boss and he was pipping his horn and waving to say hello. His window was down so I've no doubt he heard what I said.
We both looked at each other in horror as he drove off.
Shit, shit, shit.
It'll be ok, right?

Who am I pretending to be?

Nah, I'm nearly 40. Why do I come across as young? Are you saying that all young people are immature?

That's very ageist, Boopsy. Especially with a username like that.

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 02/10/2018 09:54

I swear a lot. Especially like the OP when driving. But I don't use cunt. I don't know why, it just feels wrong to me.

Fucking knob - yes.

Off you pop, then Smile

KathDayKnight50 · 02/10/2018 11:02

There is nothing more blunt
Than yelling out CUNT!!!!
To your boss when out in the car

But if you get a promotion
It's worth the commotion
So it's not really so bizarre

Though I couldn't recommend it
'Cos your boss might be offended
It might just be a bridge too far!

Langpants · 02/10/2018 11:12

@boopsy - you must be fun at parties. Move along if you're offended.

So much in life to worry about rather than a swear word or someone calling someone a legend for giving them a laugh.

Do one, grannies. Troll somewhere else.

ShirleyPhallus · 02/10/2018 11:12

Ok you can pretend to be whoever you want to on here! You come across quite young.

Oh the irony

@boopsy - bore off then.

sugarcoatedthorns · 02/10/2018 11:24

If he has shouted 'FUCK OFF YOU CUNT' at you because you were just about to step into the road so beeped and shouted that at you. I don't think that's funny, and I think it would be received very differently. How does being the same make it OK, I don't understand.

What Karma and fun twist, whojimawhatsit ?

ProfessorMoody · 02/10/2018 11:27

I thought you had "adult" things to do, boopsy?

KathDayKnight50 · 02/10/2018 11:28

Great song Grin

Hausfrau29 · 02/10/2018 11:42

This is hilarious 😂 And totally the kind of thing I would do. I asked someone in the supermarket what the fuck he was doing the other day, when he was stood so close to me that I could feel breath on my face. I didn't mean to, it just came out! I'm angry and very pregnant.

Thank god for an understanding boss. I usually find that people in that sort of position will have been through enough shit in their life to be able to sympathise and recognise that someone is having a bloody terrible day. Im glad it worked out OK - my problem is that I would have followed it up with something like "It's not true what they say, you're obviously not a cunt" with a big grin when he brought me a coffee. I have a tendency to take things too far without thinking!

Sorry to hear about your sister x

LydiaLunch9 · 02/10/2018 11:53

There have been numerous threads recently of people committing minor mistakes and then being called a fucking cunt by angry drivers/cyclists/pedestrians, and how much it upset them because they'd been having a tough day, etc. I doubt you'd find anyone on those threads defending the sweary shouter like they are in here.

itchybumhole · 02/10/2018 12:04

Lydia, haven't you already said that?

OP posts:
Ignoramusgiganticus · 02/10/2018 12:13

I don't like the use of such severe bad language directed at a person, no matter how bad the provocation. Take the high road and all that, but even I thought this was hilarious and am pleased that the boss took it so well.

itchybumhole · 02/10/2018 12:28

There's only one legend in this story. He's asked if there's anything he or the company as a whole can do to make life a little easier for me whilst I deal with the news about my family member.
Such a nice guy. 👍🏻

jackio2205 · 02/10/2018 12:44

@itchybumhole your firm employs legends all around, can I work there or can I only get in if I call someone a cunt? I'll start by getting on the central line in the morning, I'm bound to get in 👍🏼

sugarcoatedthorns · 02/10/2018 13:08

itchy you can't change people's minds and being argumentative, this thread has turned into epic fail as its turned into an argument of those who love to shout abuse at others and think that's funny and others who don't , who then get abused and called cunts for disagreeing, which is frankly shit.

So Whojimawhatsit what was the Karma and the fun 'twist'..

ItWasntMeItWasIm · 02/10/2018 13:08

Kath Grin

ItWasntMeItWasIm · 02/10/2018 13:09

I would call some posters cunts, but they have neither warmth nor depth...

sugarcoatedthorns · 02/10/2018 13:10

I think you need to have some prep h and get yourself a soft cushion, I have no idea how you have the energy for this under such sad circumstances, will make allowances for that.

KathDayKnight50 · 02/10/2018 13:26

ItWasntMeItWasIm

It's catchy Grin

Hope I don't sing it out loud by accident!

justilou1 · 02/10/2018 13:29

So sorry to hear about your sister, OP. Very, very pleased that your boss (despite being a lawyer) has turned out to be a very decent human being.

Lethaldrizzle · 02/10/2018 13:40

Lydia probably repeated her post because it's a good point
