Why are you still here then @CadyHeron ?

@honeyandmilk and I have no idea what's gone on here tonight but it is so bloody weird.

Agree with all that have said CC is a good writer. Just a shame she didn't think it was important to make it clear she was a fictional author and not a real life blogger. Apparently if we all missed the nuances in her 'spoken word art' we are as thick as mince. See the latest blog post 😵😵😵

See you over on Reddit @honeyandmilk et all Grin

I predict this thread will implode in 5,4,3,2......

catinboots9 · 01/10/2018 22:22

Sorry for the bold. Duck knows what went on there Confused

honeyandmilk · 01/10/2018 22:24

@LilyMumsnet

No, as per your talk guidelines re privacy please post here for everyone to see.

honeyandmilk · 01/10/2018 22:25

Discrimination, pure and simple.

Advertisers want protection for some people, not for others.

CadyHeron · 01/10/2018 22:26

Cat - as I keep having to say, because I find the discussion behind the ethics etc that everybody says these threads about interesting.

honeyandmilk · 01/10/2018 22:26

What's this reddit thing?

Happy to post.

If there is one thing I can't stand is injustice, and this? Ridiculous.

CadyHeron · 01/10/2018 22:28

It's obvious that if you're not into playground stuff it's so why are you here? crap starts up again.

honeyandmilk · 01/10/2018 22:28

@LilyMumsnet

You have my authorisation to post anything you have to say to me here.

Would love to know publicly why my posts get deleted but others dont.

Does my one leg offend you?

Or is it that I've actually went legal unlike others who have threatened?

I call BS

CadyHeron · 01/10/2018 22:29

There;s obviously someone intent on getting the thread deleted and it certainly isn't me.

honeyandmilk · 01/10/2018 22:32

@CadyHeron

Goady

However, I think you will find what I've said is in the "guidelines"....

People can call people out you know, doesn't require deleting anything.

MightyMousie · 01/10/2018 22:33

@cadyheron disagree with your return post this evening. There’s clearly something going on with the deletions and I think your comment was off the mark. Discussion has been polite and interesting and coming and being goady is not necessary.

aliceinwonderlust23 · 01/10/2018 22:34

SWCBN declares war when a satire account which pokes fun at 'influencers' names her in a post. Yet SWCBN appears to be a satire of her own character and material?

CadyHeron · 01/10/2018 22:37

SWCBN is great code, they'll never crack that one lol. Grin

CherryCone · 01/10/2018 22:37

Thank you @LilyMumsnet for explaining. Thought I might be having a daft moment!

@honeyandmilk sorry if this is offensive but would you mind explaining how you having one leg is relevant here? Do MNHQ know you and know that you're disabled?

MightyMousie · 01/10/2018 22:39

The reason I am not interested in discussing that account on here is that whilst I find things quite inflammatory at times, that account has also referred to a previous, recent suicide attempt. This is concerning to me. I would imagine it’s equally concerning to MNHQ and the best way forward to sensitively manage the situation is to have that topic off bounds. This seems to me the most likely scenario and why we should respect their stance. I don’t feel it’s about discrimination.

CadyHeron · 01/10/2018 22:42

MightyMousie Sad a perfectly valid reason why it's not to be discussed then, you'd think people could stick to it.

honeyandmilk · 01/10/2018 22:43

@CherryCone - I won't go into the whole voting Tory being disabled backstory but if you scroll down you will see everyone being deleted

honeyandmilk · 01/10/2018 22:44

@MightyMousie each to their own, but I do feel discriminated against.

MrBull · 01/10/2018 22:44

@honeyandmilk You've got issues with an instagrammer that are serious enough that you're seeking legal action - fair enough - but why try and get this thread pulled in the process? What's your intention here? It was clear from the outset that particular conversation was not for here anymore. @MightyMousie makes a good point. We need to leave it be - or tackle this privately in your case, if that's what's needed.

OP posts:
MightyMousie · 01/10/2018 22:45

@cadyheron agreed. It’s easy enough to discuss other aspects and leave certain topics alone.

aliceinwonderlust23 · 01/10/2018 22:45

@MightyMousie

If that is true then absolutely MNHQ are doing the right thing by managing these threads. I wonder how all the other 'instamums' are doing after a years worth of threads dissecting their characters at times in truly awful ways. Because if they had publicly talked about their MH and how that had been affected, I wonder if MNHQ had been quicker off the mark and manged those threads too?

SpiritLeveller · 01/10/2018 22:47

I’d be really disappointed if this thread ended up getting deleted as well when most people are really trying not to get drawn into anything contentious.

MightyMousie · 01/10/2018 22:47

@honeyandmilk I’m not saying for a minute you don’t have valid grievances and I’m not saying I agree with things posted, I’m saying it’s off limits for me and I’m respecting why that mention is frequently being pulled. I think we need to look at the bigger picture.

honeyandmilk · 01/10/2018 22:48

Totally fine, as you started the threat @MrBull il pull out, thought this was a discussion, clearly only on your terms.

Ask yourself this though, the time said instagrammer posted a screenshot of someone from Mumsnet HQ did every conversation get pulled that was connected.

Anyway, over and out, will leave you to the monitored chat.

MrBull · 01/10/2018 22:52

Thank you.
