Couple charged with assault for trying to buy water in Rochdale Tesco

Obviously don’t know the full facts, but the photos
Show the police being pretty heavy handed.

They look Muslim, so presume don’t drink alcohol, they have regularly buy the water from other branches of Tesco.
This behaviour by the police looks like the sort of treatment meted out by racist officers towards African Americans in the US.

I am disgusted by the thuggish behaviour of the police and I hope Mr. Hussain succeeds in his complaint to the PCC.

I reported the Konstancja Duff posts as being false and mentioned that they appeared to be goady.

Honestly, considering I got threatened with suspension just for fucking mentioning a certain instagramer I can't believe the shit some people get away with on here time after time!

People like 2much take so much pleasure from goading people and telling such fabricating lies ... if any vulnerable person believed her just because she gave links to a case and didn t check up on it then such damage could be done .

Some other people can get caught up in the manufactured hysteria and the few cases of police behaving badly gets all blown out of proportion and we get the situation where victims of crime are afraid to interact with police. It's so sad because the vast majority of police are just trying to do their job the best they can.

Really didn't get the logic.. Of lack of it between the tesco incident and the other incidents not being delt with. The police involve in this Tesco drama aren't the only ones in the world!

About 7 years ago I was working for Asda, most of the staff knew who the shop owners were regardless of race as they never tried to hide it, they tried every trick in the book to bulk buy to sell on, sometimes they got away with it sometimes they didn't, especially with cut price alcohol, never once did I see anyone kick off or get the police involved. At times like Christmas when the store had massive backlogs of stock they were often happy to sell someone a whole pallet of half price cola just so they got rid of it. I always remember staff being asked to help someone load up his van when he pulled it up to the shop entrance. They didn't have to make a fuss, they've obviously managed it at several other stores so just take it on the chin and try elsewhere or comply with the request to buy less.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone be so dramatic, to compare people kicking off about buying water to actual human rights campaigners is actually pretty disgusting!
And I also think it's mad that refusing to sell someone water has made Tesco attempted murderers.
I am ashamed at the state of the world.

The whole racism thing... I know it adds sympathy and all so guess that's why they've gone down that route...hopefully it won't be brought into by people who matter. End of the day don't kick off when told no!
