Obviously don’t know the full facts, but the photos
Show the police being pretty heavy handed.

They look Muslim, so presume don’t drink alcohol, they have regularly buy the water from other branches of Tesco.
This behaviour by the police looks like the sort of treatment meted out by racist officers towards African Americans in the US.

I am disgusted by the thuggish behaviour of the police and I hope Mr. Hussain succeeds in his complaint to the PCC.

@2muchtrouble You are an idiot!
How can I agree to conditions I know nothing about

Best you dont go out alone any more then? The fact that you dont want to be filmed by Tesco is by the by, by you going in there, you are agreeing to Tesco terms and conditions and one of those is that they reserve the right to use CCTV

www.tesco.com/help/privacy-and-cookies/privacy-centre/privacy-policy-information/cctv-notice/?ref=ie

General Principles
Tesco has a responsibility for the protection of its property, equipment and other plant as well as providing a sense of security to its colleagues, customers and visitors to the Properties. Tesco owes a duty of care under the provisions of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 (as amended from time to time) and associated legislation to colleagues, customers and visitors who enter and exit the Properties. Tesco utilises the Surveillance Systems and its associated recording equipment as an added mode of security by integrating best practices governing security surveillance of the Properties. Tesco confirms that all aspects of the Surveillance Systems (including the installation of all cameras and the designation of access to recorded material) have been subject to a Data Protection Impact Assessment before installation and will, in all cases, be accompanied by clear signage stating that the CCTV is in operation.

Tesco confirms that CCTV monitoring at the Properties will be conducted in a manner consistent with this policy in addition to all existing policies adopted by Tesco, including Dignity at Work Policy, Codes of Business Conduct for dealing with complaints of bullying & harassment and sexual harassment and other relevant policies, including the provisions set down in the GDPR, the DP Acts, and other relevant legislation.

Tesco is committed to the highest standards in relation to the security and protection of its colleagues, customers and visitors who enter and exit its Properties. The installation and operation of Surveillance Systems will be reviewed regularly by Tesco in consultation with colleagues.

2much I probably would have had less patience and he would be getting put out the shop quicker.

Walkingdeadfangirl · 30/09/2018 14:08

Where in the video is this supposed punch? Is it in the part that has been edited out because I have watched it twice and at no point does the policeman punch or try to punch anyone.

All I see is a couple refusing to stop filming and resisting arrest.

Charlie97 · 30/09/2018 14:09

disabedience. WTF is that?

Is it a bit like disobedience?

Spell check is your friend!

Charlie97 · 30/09/2018 14:09

I have seen it many times before, cop asks you for your name and address and you say no and the thing your being punched

Lies

Nicknacky · 30/09/2018 14:10

2much a police assaulted isn't null and void if a person is not guilty of other offences. Stop talking about things you clearly don't understand.

Nicknacky · 30/09/2018 14:11

A woman was raped because she didn't give her name and address?

Actually, why am I wasting my precious time reading this pish?

Madein1995 · 30/09/2018 14:11

I'd just like to say a huge thank you to all police out there. People moan and whinge but when it comes to it, they're the first people we call. We expect them to be in effect superheros - to come to our rescue. To sort things. To make us feel ok and to feel safe.

I've been a victim of assault and the police were brilliant. It was at work, in a kids home. They came and they arrested my attacker. They talked to me, they reassured me, they calmed me down. They really helped me and I'm grateful for that.

Spouting crap like 'all officers hit their wives' 'look at incidents that happened 30yrs ago' 'i pay your wages', they're ridiculous. My local police force post stuff on FB. Whenever a drug raid is on there, everyone is commenting bleating about how it's a waste of time, and how 'they should worry about rapost and murderers'. Well if you know so bloody mucgz please inform the police of all these murders so they can act.

Police aren't dolls to pick and choose what they get to enforce. They enforce the law, all of the law. And acting violently in a shop and causing a disturbance is a public order offence, just as growing weed is a drug offence and just how speeding is a traffic offence.

Posters who clearly have a chip on their shoulders about police. Bore off and stop insulting the people who do jobs mist of us couldn't imagine. Being spat at, assaulted, understaffed, low wages (look at grad jobs compared to police), all the stress, the things they see, and all that while listening to idiots bleat about how they pay their wages which means they should be able to tell them what bits of the law to enforce and what not to.

And to all the police officers on this thread, or in fact on the country, thank you. Thank you for making me feel safe

You don't see what happened because they have edited it to suit their own narrative. You can't not see that surely?

BrownPaperTeddy · 30/09/2018 14:14

Do you think I read the store conditions before I enter a store?

Well, you should to make sure that you agree. Best look up the terms and conditions of all stores before you enter.

I have seen it many times before, cop asks you for your name and address and you say no and the thing your being punched

What about the woman who was raped by the police because she wouldn't give her name?

It must be exhausting being you. However do you function with this level of suspicion and paranoia?

Nicknacky · 30/09/2018 14:14

I hope no member of staff was assaulted. No "lol" about it as it is no laughing matter when people are assaulted for doing their jobs and I include police in that.

Konstancja Duff strip searched and penetrated by police for not giving name

No she wasn’t.

SoupDragon · 30/09/2018 14:22

As an aside, did you name change or join just to post this crap?

BrownPaperTeddy · 30/09/2018 14:23

Has he been charged for assaulting a member of staff

No idea what he's been charged with.

I do hope that it includes assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest and wasting police time though.
