Obviously don’t know the full facts, but the photos
Show the police being pretty heavy handed.

They look Muslim, so presume don’t drink alcohol, they have regularly buy the water from other branches of Tesco.
This behaviour by the police looks like the sort of treatment meted out by racist officers towards African Americans in the US.

I am disgusted by the thuggish behaviour of the police and I hope Mr. Hussain succeeds in his complaint to the PCC.

If this couple is willing to attack police officers over water & film themselves whilst doing it then you have to wonder what other laws are they breaking. Are they into drugs, trafficking? I hope they are investigated, they are definitely hiding something.

Atlantea · 29/09/2018 20:53

@2muchtrouble - why dont you go and remove the drug dealers from the peoples stairwell in Hulme(as reported in the M.E.N),i know its been 3 years but i know that one day you will get round to it

afterall the police arent getting round to it, and dont forget to pop in a claim for the £58 an hour while you're at it
oh and i have no idea what M.E.N is

I did get a 6.5% pay rise this week!

2much.....without wanting to point out the obvious, she might have needed to change a dirty nappy. Now I know you are taking the piss “runners” 😂😂

Nicknacky · 29/09/2018 20:58

You know cops don’t do evictions, don’t you?

RebelRogue · 29/09/2018 21:01

I know one "industry" where runners are commonly used. Wouldn't brag about it to cops though.Grin

Atlantea · 29/09/2018 21:02

I am not a cop and if i was one i would do a better job
so why don't you, obviously you would do it so much better than the underfunded current force we have

what is it that you do btw?

Allergictoironing · 29/09/2018 21:04

In your line of work 2much you probably haven't had all admin staff cut to the bone, police officers have to do all their paperwork etc as there are no runners or shoppers hanging around just in case they need something. If they DID, then we'd have people screaming about how money is wasted on non essential staff.

And please note that the pp did that in their own time, as stated in the post, not at the under £20 per hour that you seem to think is about 3x that. They took their own personal time to sort out children in desperate need, so didn't spend any of "your" taxpayer money, in fact they spent their own personal money on the stuff they bought.

Oh and I nearly forgot. Police, believe it or not, are allowed to take breaks for things like lunch in fact the law says they have to. But I'm sure you'd rather they spent part of their patrol time driving back to the station then taking their break, then time driving back out to their beat, rather than pop into a local supermarket & eating their lunch in the car so they were handy to their designated patrol area.

A number of posts have been deleted. I think this thread has highlighted how aggressive and nasty some officers can be. Totally unprofessional, unreasonable and definitely causes myself and others concern. Good night all.

Nicknacky · 29/09/2018 21:11

I will check my posts but I think I can bet my pensions that only one of mine was and that’s becuase it will refer to a deleted post.

Grin Nasty aggressive police officers on this thread?

GrinGrinGrin

I love people's little internal narratives they give themselves. Makes me feel all lovely and sane.

Nicknacky · 29/09/2018 21:15

Correction, none of mine so I’m clearly not aggressive!

2much did you miss where I said the officers would be utilised? 4flr transport and at least 2 for statements. Rest stood down asap.

Nothing to do with intimidation.

I see three, one of which was mine!

Exaggerated much!

Charlie97 · 29/09/2018 21:19

@2muchtrouble my works ya safe.....due in part to the excellent police force in my naice area!

Charlie97 · 29/09/2018 21:19

@2muchtrouble what is it that you do that brings so much more value to the world?

Does anyone have any idea where the rest of the footage is?

If the police cannot intimidate him into accepting a guilty plea his arrest will have cost 10s of thousands by the time it comes to court Yes, imagine having to intimidate someone into admitting they are an arsehole with delusions of adequacy - Martin Luther King he aint

Nicknacky · 29/09/2018 21:29

It costs what it costs. I don’t mind my tax being spent on getting those two in front of a judge.

Atlantea · 29/09/2018 21:29

yeah - i'd even contribute to a go fund me to get it done quicker

RebelRogue · 29/09/2018 21:32

@Nicknacky but is it your tax? At the end of the day we pay your wages so it's really our tax. Fucking hell,we're being taxed twice.Grin

Nicknacky · 29/09/2018 21:35

rebel Well technically, but the principle stands 😂

Allergictoironing · 29/09/2018 21:42

Yes it IS Nicknacky's tax, public servants do pay all the same taxes as everyone else. The additional cost of all the extra police was caused by Mr Hussain acting in a way that means he ended up being charged for assaulting a police officer - as detailed above. The ONLY reason that police were in attendance in the first place was because Mr Hussain asked them to step in when he saw them in the shop, Tesco didn't call the police in at all. The additional police would have been brought in only once they knew people would need to be transported to the police station.
