She's on This Morning, with Philip and Holly doing a AIBU, must have got the idea from mumsnet. I always think she talks a lot of sense, think she'd make a better host than Holly. Anyone agree?

Nothing wrong with Holly. I think she's a good presenter. Would prefer to watch her on This Morning than Vanessa Feltz although I do agree that VF is also a good presenter and is very personable.

I really like Vanessa Feltz, love it when she sits in for Jeremy Vine.

I think she's very much Marmite though, just so happens I love her!

V is good on radio. Does Radio London breakfast show, a call in.

She has a real grasp on subjects and asks inciteful questions. She is also extremely articulate, I always learn a new word when I listen to her. Sometimes she gets overexcited and becomes shrill so that only dogs can hear her at that point. You can also hear her trying to open sweets during long winded callers!

She puts a shift in. She does an extremely early Radio 2 show before starting a 3 hour shift at Radio London and then hot foots it to This Morning. She is one of the highest paid women on BBC, but she is a grafter.

I like Vanessa too, but I'm also thrilled to find some other people who can't stand Holly! She may be intelligent and nice IRL, but she comes across as a vacuous, simpering idiot and I really cannot understand how she got the Celeb/Jungle gig.

When I saw that Vanessa Feltz was one of the very highest paid female BBC employees, I could not for the life of me see how she was earning it. Plus, I don't think she came across as a particularly wonderful individual in her reality TV days.

I know someone who has worked with her and they could not believe her vocabulary. She is enormously bossy as you might imagine and simply won't go away.

VF does enough stuff anyway, let someone else better have a chance, someone like Lisa Tarbuck perhaps?

I think a lot of women dislike and despise other women who are unashamedly feminine, unashamedly happy and unashamedly nice - they feel they're letting the side down somehow. They like to admire women who are funny, edgy and clever instead. I think we need all sorts of people in life.

She never stumbles on her words does she, they just flow from her without her seemingly having to think about them.

I like her. She'd make a good presenter. Holly is a good presenter too. They have different styles and qualities, I don't understand the need to compare or pick one tbh, there's room for more than one presenter on tv!

I don't get the Vanessa hate either. She is intelligent, articulate and funny.

Holly and the whole itv/itv 2 incestuous 'family', absolutely suck balls.

I wonder if Holly would get all this work if she wasn't married to the man who produces tons of shows for the channel 🤔

I like it when she stands in for Jeremy Vine on radio2.

I'd like Rylan to replace Holly, I'm very low brow.

Well that's not true as I am v feminine, happy and 'nice' but can't stand Holly! I would love to be funny and edgy though, however, I'm not, so I admire people who are

Holly is a vapid, shallow woman who is in her element dishing out trite parenting "tips" and talking about reality TV. Vanessa has a first from Cambridge. No comparison.

I totally agree with Sarcelle. I love Vanessa too, I listen to her breakfast show on BBC radio london every day and she's great - really clever and sensitive with how she asks questions.

Who are you calling nice? I know people who interviewed Vanessa and she is not in the least bit nice.

For a moment I thought we were on Digital Spy, this thread is typical of that place.

Feltzy is an absolute powerhouse. I love her.

I like V on radio, really miss her radio London show. She works really hard, no matter what bbc pay her, she earns it. However, I feel she may not come across so well on t.v, haven't seen her on tv tho since she was sacked years ago.

I really like her radio London breakfast show, she can be extremely empathetic & quite sensitive yy her vocabulary & use of language is wonderfull, lots of people who have worked with her on the radio said she is very nice too her team, I can imagine she her as being quite bossy though, I do prefer her compared to some of the quite seemingly vacuous other presenters.

I like Vanessa but the driveway incident has put me off abit.

Cannot abide Vanessa, she talks far too much! Yes, I know that’s her job, but she uses twenty words when one or two would do! Never listen to her in the mornings now.

I like her very much.

My friend parked on gwyneth Paltrows drive she was quite nice about it
