Morning lovely lot.

I've been awake since about 4:30 with bad cramps and DD woke up at 6:30. Have washed the school uniforms etc and now I'm snuggled on the couch with a hot water bottle, a hot water (don't drink caffeine during the time of the month because it can make cramps stronger) and my bath robe. Watching old episodes of NCIS and I think I'm gonna he staying here for the day. DD is playing at the coffee table with her L.O.L dolls and she's said she wants a PJ day too.

*What are you all up to?
*
Have an absolutely wonderful day xx

DD has gone to an all day party then she's off to a separate sleepover with 2 friends tonight.

DS and and I are here, DH made us a ploughmans lunch. I am on antibiotics so mainly resting, MN, researching few things.

We took our two youngest to football training this morning (ds1 came too but not his day to train). Then came home and dropped ds1 with his friend and they went out. Then we went into the town for haircuts for ds2 and dh and had some lunch and did some shopping. We tidied up at home. Ds1 came home and is upstairs with his friend. Ds2 is playing. Dd is watching a movie. Dh is asleep and I'm on here. Two little ones have done their homework so I'm glad that's out of the way. Ds1 will do his later but he needs less help so that's easier. Hoping for a thoroughly relaxing afternoon.

I’m having a lovely day. Was my turn for a lie in so OH got up with DS and I slept until 10.45!!! Can’t remember the last time I did that. Since then I’ve been on the sofa, had a bacon sandwich and put DS down for a nap. He’s back up again now so we are eating snacks and watching the BFG. Pizza for dinner!

Sitting in Morrisons cafe eating a cream cake, 41+2 and wandering around walking as much as I can manage to try to make the annoyingly mild cramping I am having turn into actual labour Sad

Been playing Stardew Valley all morning. Then went out and treated myself (got soaked in the process) now I am exhausted but going some more Stardew.

Giggorata · 22/09/2018 15:33

Clearing my backlog of paperwork (we're talking about 1 foot tall) and sorting out the large collection of sci fi magazines I’ve just bought on eBay.
Making a chicken casserole in the slow cooker for tomorrow.
Tonight, going to some friends for a pot luck supper, with a cheese and onion quiche and a raspberry and gin eton mess from Lidl. Wine may be involved.
Also, I’ve been thinking it's Sunday all day today, so am delighted to see it's Saturday Grin

Bday party this morn.
This afternoon I went off to do some quiet studying away from dcs but was not very productive:(
Giving kids their dinner now. At attempt another hour studying later.
Have been invited out for a drink but too tired and too Much to do :( but Dh has got us make your own pizza so that’s something 😊

Glad it's raining as wonderful excuse. Watching Netflix, pottering, laundry, baking a chocolate cake 🎂

Batmanthedude · 22/09/2018 16:32

Cinema with ds this morning, then home did washing and put away about 2 weeks worth that's been sitting in my dinning room. Watching films waiting for dinner to cook jacket potatoes. Tonight a film and a couple of vodkas. Me and we in pjs

KingLooieCatz · 22/09/2018 16:33

I peaked way too early today. I was in and out of Ikea with what I went for and nothing else in half an hour, including a coffee and a pastry.

I've slumped all afternoon. I have no more desire to get DS away from the TV than he does. Fortunately he was at his drama club for two and a half hours this morning so he hasn't been slumped all day.

Polarbearflavour · 22/09/2018 16:43

Fresh pain au chocolate for breakfast.
Watching Killing Eve.
Popping out to the library in the rain.
Going out for Indian food tonight.

thismeansnothing · 22/09/2018 16:50

DH has been out with DD all-day (dance lessons then they've gone to the football) so making the most of the time on my own.

Went to the next sale to see if the PJs I've been eyeing up were in it. They weren't still full price but picked up a nice t-shirt.

Got a maccies breakfast.

Dismantled a disgusting shoe rack that was built into our allway wall when we bought our house. Sanded the skirting in the hall ready to be glossed and gave it all a good wipe down and hoover.

Hoovered the front room.

Washed up.

Did the last load of washing, dried it and actually put it away 😱

Caught up on some EastEnders and Hollyoaks with a brew and a flapjack.

Now contemplating what I'm going to have for tea later while DH is round SIL to watch the boxing.

mamaduckbone · 22/09/2018 16:52

Grizzly drizzly day here too. I’m drinking tea and catching up on planning and marking as we’re at a wedding tomorrow. Ds2 is drawing, Dh is reading and Ds1 is out with his mates in the rain doing god knows what.

He’ll be home soon and will enter the house like a tornado, wet and starving and shatter the peace (very nearly a teenager and acting it!)

Had a lovely long bath this morning and a wander into town for a coffee and to get a few bits with dh and ds2 so not all bad.

ASauvignonADay · 22/09/2018 16:54

I've had the heating on low all day too!
