Morning lovely lot.

I've been awake since about 4:30 with bad cramps and DD woke up at 6:30. Have washed the school uniforms etc and now I'm snuggled on the couch with a hot water bottle, a hot water (don't drink caffeine during the time of the month because it can make cramps stronger) and my bath robe. Watching old episodes of NCIS and I think I'm gonna he staying here for the day. DD is playing at the coffee table with her L.O.L dolls and she's said she wants a PJ day too.

*What are you all up to?
*
Have an absolutely wonderful day xx

Done some gardening this morning, need to weed the front garden before people come over later.

Both DC's are ill with colds, ear infections and asthma. Very late night last night due to this. DD and I are in our spare room as we have a double bed and DH and DS are in our bed. DD is still asleep, guessing DH and DS are too.
Plan for today, bath DC's after breakfast, clean PJ's on and then just do nothing, they really both need to rest, this is easier with DD but I know already that DS despite being the sicker of the two will be badgering us all day to go outside, even if it is cold and raining. So that'll be a battle.
I'll cook a curry for us all this afternoon.

Lazy morning so far, then sorting out the boys bedroom after his dad has put together the new cabin bed. We were meant to be going on an annual absent friends ride today but the weather looks shite & my bike doesn't like working in the rain so will probably start looking at Halloween costumes instead before takeaway & movie night later.

Meeting up with some friends, having dinner and many drinks at their house probably with a game of cards against humanity. Then we’re going to a club that plays the cheesiest music ever and I’m going to find a gorgeous man to snog.

I can’t wait Grin

I woke too early because of a food reaction, walked ddog, tidied house for teenage sleepover and have now watched my team trample it’s way to the grand final next Saturday. I’m happy with all that.

Well, at 1am I was scrubbing vomit out of DD(5)'s carpet and washing bedding so keeping all my fingers and toes crossed that today is a vom free day! Had planned to take DD out for the day with friends and their kids while DH paints the Nursery (baby no 2 on the way) but have had to cancel as we don't want to infect them. So today will mostly be movies, colouring and anything else I can think of to entertain her that doesn't involve me having to move much! Wish me luck Confused

Ooh those eclairs look amazing!
I'm taking the kids to their jujitsu class then over to ikea (its next door) for hotdogs for lunch.
Back home then one has a party but the rest of us are just going to chill and get homework done.
We have the class bear and and dp is away so just me the four kids, the dog, the cat and the bear this weekend.

Woke up early as DH is working with a friend this morning. Got ready and dropped DS at drama class at 9am and now I am Sat in a cafe with tea and toast until I go back for him (only an hour so not worth going home ). Once I collect him I need to go into town to get a few bits.

Might treat DS to lunch in town.

Then home for the afternoon which will largely consist of catching up on housework and laundry (been an especially busy week this week so got a bit behind).

DH is at the ruby wedding anniversary of a family friend tonight with MIL BIL and SIL (I didn't fancy a formal sit down meal starting at 7.30pm with a 4 year old so me and DS are staying home).

So the evening will be nice tea with DS and then watching whatever trash I want on the telly Grin

Currently in bed, summoning up the enthusiasm to clean the bathroom and sort out DS’s room. The whole house needs a real sort out so I’m starting at the top and working my way down (will be a slow process though I think!). This afternoon, me and the kids are going to the cinema while DH meets up with friends. Might treat the kids to dinner out as DH won’t need food.

A four hour journey, and that's without the stops, to Cornwall for a few days holiday with in laws. If DD (7 months) isn't asleep in the car, then she does not like the car. Tears. This is only a recent development before she was ok. There will be lots of stops. I've said to DH that I love him, and I know he loves me, and let's try and remember that by the end of what may well be the journey from hell, combined with singing along to the moo music cd at the tops of our voices. I am having a coffee in bed before the chaos starts. We haven't even packed yet. Oh, and DD crawls and is into everything. Wish me luck.

Not much. My depression has taken hold quite firm again, I will be trying to get through a lonely rainy day with two under 5s and a husband who I no longer speak to. Separate lives under the same roof.

Just dropped DS at the gym. Now home via M&S for tonic, flowers, fruit and nibbles.

About to have a long soak with a face mask and a hair mask - the wind trashed my curls this week. DD1 has a friend staying over, due to get dropped off when DH and DD collect DS from gym at 11am.

French toast and bacon for brunch then a bit of a tidy up.

Out for dinner with two other families at 7pm for friends birthday. Posh hotel, hopefully the under 7's behave! Then everyone back here for a few drinks.

A step up on last Saturday, I cleaned all day!!!!!

DH has taken the kids out for their various doings and I'm determined to complete the methodology chapter of my thesis and get a draft off to my supervisor. To this end, I am drinking A LOT of coffee.

After that, I'm meeting my oldest friends in a town 2 hours away, with lovely shops. We'll go for dinner and spend the night in a hotel.

This is very much not a normal weekend. I generally spend time watching the children do their hobbies, shooting around Sainsburys, putting off going for a run and fitting boring and a bit of not-so-boring stuff in, like most people on MN I suspect.

DP has left for his weekly trip to his mum's (frail, elderly) to take her for her weekly shop and do the housework chores she struggles with. I'm laundry - washing and a huge pile of ironing while I watch Saturday Kitchen. Hoovering & dusting bedrooms then the air filter on for a couple of hours. Nap time for me! Start preparing dinner.
