Morning lovely lot.

I've been awake since about 4:30 with bad cramps and DD woke up at 6:30. Have washed the school uniforms etc and now I'm snuggled on the couch with a hot water bottle, a hot water (don't drink caffeine during the time of the month because it can make cramps stronger) and my bath robe. Watching old episodes of NCIS and I think I'm gonna he staying here for the day. DD is playing at the coffee table with her L.O.L dolls and she's said she wants a PJ day too.

*What are you all up to?
*
Have an absolutely wonderful day xx

DS1 has a job to start today.....good lad and DS2 is resting his broken wrist.....DH is working today too....would lurvvve a pj day with tea and toast ....hope everyone has a restful day 😊

Autismdreams · 22/09/2018 08:37

Shopping with DD and DMum for holiday clothes while DS and DH have a boys day (Not sure what that entails!?)

Then home for jacket potatoes and chilli with friends ready for the boxing - come on AJ!

whiteroseredrose · 22/09/2018 08:38

DD and I have been up since 5.30am. Currently on the train to Euston and will be going on Chris Packham's Walk for Wildlife.

No doubt we'll get soaked so will need to have tea and cake after!

Mum2OneTeen · 22/09/2018 08:39

It's late Saturday afternoon here, DP is lying in bed recovering after his first sailing day of the season and is just about to take Ddog for a sunset walk.

DD has just come home from her first day at her new summer/uni gap year casual job working in a boutique in a seaside town near here. She is feeling very overwhelmed by all the many things she needs to learn. She only just graduated from high school yesterday, so the timing is excellent for her. She still has final exams in a few weeks, so hopefully will manage to stay focused on studying for that as well.

I am just having a little break before cooking dinner, which tonight will be a tomato & canellini bean sauce with fried polenta and a salad.

I have just got back from playing a ball throwing game with Ddog out in the paddock. Before that, I managed to finish repainting one of the many fiddly sash windows as part of our spring home spruce up. I'm anxious to get it all done before the weather gets too hot.

So, all busy, busy, busy here atm. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

Merryoldgoat · 22/09/2018 08:39

Taking 5yo to his activity then home to clean and cook as we have very old friends coming for the kids to play and an early dinner.

I’ve been suffering from PND/PNA and has some amazing news yesterday and that coupled with today’s plans has made me feel really positive.

Hope you feel better soon OP, duvet days sound entirely appropriate and necessary.

MillieMoodle · 22/09/2018 08:39

DS1 and DH have football this morning (DH is coach) so we are all off to the football club shortly. I am feeling smug because I put the goals up at the ground last night so we don't have to get up there too early this morning. Just hope they're still standing! Then we're going to collect conkers and go to The Range to look at the Halloween stuff. I am working on the bar at the football club tonight so I will miss Strictly. I will record it (like I end up doing every year) and this year I will actually watch it! I will! Grin

Storm4star · 22/09/2018 08:39

I’m going to spend the next couple of hours in bed with coffee and my iPad. Then I need to pop to the local shop at some point to get a bottle of wine for later. I have a new craft project that i’ll start this afternoon and play a computer game for a while. Minor chores, make some dinner. Then settle down for wine and Netflix!

kathrynelizabeth3005 · 22/09/2018 08:41

Hope you feel better OP! I have no plans. I’ve got food poisoning and my DH’s work are being monsters so won’t let him have dependants leave to take care of 18 month old DS. I’m laid up on the sofa letting my son roam the living room.

Thankfully I’ve passed the vomiting stage!

SomethingNastyInTheBallPool · 22/09/2018 08:42

DP has just bundled a bawling DD(4) into the car to take her to speech therapy. I’m enjoying the sudden calm. I’ll have a shower, put away the shopping delivery, put some washing on and then get lunch started - not sure what yet, maybe chicken curry?
DP and DD will get back in time for lunch and then we’ll probably go to a monthly playgroup for disabled children. Home at teatime and lots of sofa slobbing.

TolstoyAteMyHamster · 22/09/2018 08:42

I’m about to watch a bunch of year 7s play rugby. I’m on a touch line. I am cold and under-dressed. I have never done this before and am not sure I will ever do it again. Then I am going home to tidy out cupboards, ferry teenagers around, make Indonesian Peanut Chicken, and eventually read my book.

LagunaBubbles · 22/09/2018 08:43

I work full time so am now off the weekend, have a Harry Potter wedding cake to make soon so my day will be spent making a fondant sorting hat, snitch, owl, Always emblem and a bride and groom.

Eminybob · 22/09/2018 08:43

A pj morning for me and ds. It was his first week of full days in reception (including 3 x breakfast and after school club) so I think he deserves it.
I went out last night and didn’t get back til nearly midnight, which at 7 months pregnant is no mean feat! So I’m shattered too.

Dh is working until 3 then we are going to take ds to McDonald’s as a reward for being so good at school all week.

CoodleMoodle · 22/09/2018 08:46

Currently rocking DS (11 weeks) to sleep. Going to work for a couple of hours this morning.

When I get back, DH and DD(4) are going for a sleepover at PILs. DS and I are going to watch TV and snooze! Then when he's in bed I'll have an hour to myself downstairs and then an early night.

Northumberlandlass · 22/09/2018 08:47

I’ve been shopping for food for tomorrow (family coming round), waiting for the rest of the household to surface & we’ll cook breakfast, getting my nails done later, pick up rest of shopping, stripping wallpaper on the stairs this afternoon & then I HAVE to make the New York Cheesecake for tomorrow before I open the wine......

Hopefully fire will be lit tonight & we’ll enjoy a movie.

I can’t complain. Last Saturday I was in my PJ’s by 3pm 😬

Hope you feel better soon OP

ASauvignonADay · 22/09/2018 08:49

I have managed about 4 hours sleep and now feel both wired and exhausted. Probably a few jobs around the house and a trip to Ikea!

StrumpersPlunkett · 22/09/2018 08:49

Prey you haven’t had a comfortable start to the day.
I will be unpacking Sainsbury’s delivery
Seeing dc off to school open day event with dh
Cleaning house
assembling birthday cake
Ironing
Dealing with hoard of 12 year olds descending for a sleepover
Going to the cinema
Making a fire pit in the garden
Lying in bed tonight being kept awake by noisemakers downstairs
Tomorrow it all starts again but with family instead of 12 year olds.

Shoxfordian · 22/09/2018 08:50

Fiance and I are going wedding ring shopping, and then having a nice lunch out. Probably a few glasses of wine as well

Hope you feel better op

Rockbird · 22/09/2018 08:50

Sitting by our new rescue kittens for hours on end praying that they come and talk to us and stop cowering in their hidey hole. Then shopping with the dds for DH's birthday. Then more kitten staring!

mildshock · 22/09/2018 08:51

DS1 is currently watching CBeebies and drawing a picture. DS2 is walking around the living room (learned how to walk this week), and I'm doing some online shopping.

We're all in our pjs waiting for DP to wake up. He's given me 2 lie ins this week, so it's only fair Smile

We did want a day spent on our bikes in the forest, but the weather looks awful. Following this thread for ideas Grin

TooMinty · 22/09/2018 08:51

Rugby Training for eldest then kids are off to Granny & Grandpa for a sleepover and DH and I are going shopping/for a meal/drinks in Glasgow.

Have you tried Andrews Liver Salts for cramp (as well as taking pain killers)? I find it helps x

Wingingit3211 · 22/09/2018 08:52

It’s raining here. Currently drinking coffee and helping ds1 put his Lego cards in his book. Plan to bake, put up some curtains, maybe watch a film. Not a lot really.

Chrisinthemorning · 22/09/2018 08:52

Homework with DS, take him to a party at a farm. DH defrosting the freezer. Film when we get back.

Pompom42 · 22/09/2018 08:53

I wanted to take the children to a family fun day at the local park. It's a large event with Ben Fogle as the main guest. It's on today and tomorrow but I'm waiting to see which day looks like the better weather but hoping to go today.

Cadsuane · 22/09/2018 08:56

It's a holiday weekend in Glasgow so no clubs for Dd2. However we are just back from dropping Dd2 and Dd1( who is home from university for the weekend) at ComiCon. We will be summoned later to pick them up. In the meantime Dh and I are chilling out with no plans and as it's a holiday weekend I don't need to rush on anything!

Misty9 · 22/09/2018 08:56

Dh is away so I've had to do the morning shift for once. But...the kids are being collected by grandad in an hour and I've got the day to myself!! I've got loads of plants to plant out in the garden, lots of flatpack to build, loads to sort out at home, a report to write, veg to use up somehow...so some of that may happen then I'm out dancing with friends this evening. I.may regret that tomorrow morning when the kids come back though!

Hope you feel better OP Flowers I spent last weekend on the sofa with a really nasty cold.
