I don't get why people stockpile cleaning stuff! I have 1 bottle Zoflora, 1 bleach , 1 Mr Muscle bathroom cleaner, 1 Mr Muscle window cleaner, 1 bottle of fairy liquid! Would rather have money sitting in my bank instead of my cupboard.

Littlemissmops is much more genuine in that she is a pro cleaner goes to absoloute hell holes and you see her getting actual results from the products she uses, which she then recommends. I’d be much more inclined to buy her recommendations than mrshinch

CSIblonde · 08/10/2018 20:53

My staples, bleach multipurpose cleaning spray, toilet bleach & window cleaner are on permanent offer in Tesco. I don't have room to stockpile. As for cleaning tips I prefer Kim Woodburn with flagrant innuendo & pursed lip disapproval on old YouTube clips.

Mammylamb · 08/10/2018 21:04

Do any of these obsessive cleaners have jobs / families to raise / hobbies / a social life? Honestly, we manage a clean of the house once a week. And then we enjoy the rest of our free time . Life’s too short

DSHathawayGivesMeFannyGallops · 08/10/2018 21:15

I do a little bit every day when I'm home and not busy but I can sleep at night if I leave it because I'm out, very busy or just fancy a night of doing nothing! Grin

MrBeansXmasTurkey · 08/10/2018 21:20

I like Mrs Hinch despite a lot of her tips that involve using way too many scented chemicals.

These people are deluding themselves if they think so many people are following Mrs Hinch for her cleaning tips. She is a beautiful young woman in that TOWIE style that a lot of people love, with a lovely home that she has decorated nicely(if you like grey) on a budget, and she has an amusing personality which is fun to watch.

Keeponlooking · 08/10/2018 23:48

Does anyone else suspect she's buying followers??

alwaysiero · 09/10/2018 00:04

Dread to think what all of those chemicals are doing to her poor dog.

Mrbay · 09/10/2018 00:23

I am glad that I am not the only one!
I am bored now with endless videos showing how to use the product - well I can read so I can read the instructions as well!
I've had to unfollow her as she is making be feel very unclean in my own home.

moreofaslummythanyummy · 09/10/2018 13:16

Just watched Little home bird stories she is so right!
Mrs hinch seems lovely but she needs to be more honest about advertising and promotion!

MaHeidsGouping · 09/10/2018 14:46

These Minky sponges are going for crazy money on eBay, 2 days to bid and its already at £21Confused! I'm a domestic cleaner and they definitely aren't all that.

I watched Mrs Hinch's story this morning and she was saying she loves standing in a shower when the glass is covered in Flash, I'd be going to bed with a headache every night if I sniffed in all they chemicals.

Yes absolutely !

nipersvest · 09/10/2018 15:50

I watched 'Fashion's dirty secrets' on iplayer last night, the amount of pollution and waste the fashion industry is responsible for is huge.

It's made me think of Mrs Hinch differently, all that plastic waste from the umpteem cleaning products and all those chemicals going straight down her drains. I may have missed it, but does she ever mention natural cleaning products? the environment? She seems to chuck virtually a whole bottle of disinfectant down her loos every night.

Is she a cleaning expert or an expert in pollution?

EnidButton · 09/10/2018 20:37

I'd never heard of her until today. I googled and read a small article about her top tips for cleaning a shower.

It was literally, spray cleaner on it, leave for a few minutes and then wipe off. Confused

I'm obviously missing something. I'll rtft now to see what it is.

MaHeidsGouping · 09/10/2018 20:56

On one of the Zoflora groups they are no longer allowing posts about her or "Hinch hauls" as it seems the tide is turning and people are leaving rude or unkind comments so admin and Mrs Hinch have decided that posts won't be approved. Apparently too if one rude comment is made in the "We love Mrs Hinch" group then you get banned for 12hrs Grin.

I've just watched a IG account story where she comes home from a hard day at work to a shit tip kitchen so you see the before and after pics and she tells you how fucked off she is, I'd rather watch that than the same clean sink being cleaned or smarties being put into colours. henry the dog lying in his bed it great tho

nipersvest · 09/10/2018 21:00

She's just shown a bottle of Viakal, I used that in our bathroom and it stripped the chrome off the taps.

MaHeidsGouping · 09/10/2018 21:20

This one...so much more amusing than Hinching.

MaHeidsGouping

Thanks she is fab , much more my style 😂😂

Nelumbo · 09/10/2018 23:14

I've been following Mrs Hinch and have to admit I have been hooked, I however have not stocked piled or spent ridiculous amounts of money on products on ebay (even though I would like a minky to see what the fuss it about)

I just found her stories quite funny.

I will struggle to have a sink even clear of dirty dishes, let alone put it to bed every night!
I haven't bought into it, and wouldn't even have space for a 'narnia' but like I say I just find her posts funny. I am getting a little bored now though as it is very samey now and I'm not actually learning any tips and it doesn't really motivate me to clean really.
I'm also put off like others how she is making so much money out of people and the amount of waste!

I really do want a cleaner home but I'm not silly I wont ever have a show home like that, and I realise I don't need to clean an already clean sink and toilet every night.

That last account mentioned looks more up my street. Can anyone recommend IG accounts for cleaning motivation, home improvement type things but more relatable to single working mums?

I mean I like the organised mum and a couple of others, but they have lovely houses and lovely supportive husbands or don't work and it does tend to make me feel a bit inferior at times.

Boohissmiss · 10/10/2018 03:17

Another who is bored of her now and the fact she said she has merchandise coming out and all the affiliate links it’s all just a marketing ploy

moreofaslummythanyummy · 10/10/2018 07:34

Agreed! The fact that the tide seems to be turning but her followers are still shooting up , just doesnt add up with me.

MrBeansXmasTurkey · 10/10/2018 08:29

Just because MNers dont like her doesn't mean she won't be popular in general. MNers hate any hint of product placement and advertising and most of them are keen on eco friendly living. But many people don't care about that and love buying stuff. The only thing that may hold Mrs Hinch back is not having enough new content to keep people coming back.

Babyshark2018 · 10/10/2018 08:40

I love her. Her house is so clean though it’s mostly unattainable for a normal person (well for me anyway!) but I like to have something to aim for. I must admit I did buy some of the products she uses, my house may be full of baby toys but at least my sink is shiny and it makes me feel human especially being on mat leave.

Instacrumb · 10/10/2018 08:52

If she was being honest and following asa rules, followers would soon realise how much she's sold out and how they are really being exploited from product placement. A lot of them are blind to the subtle advertising. Little home bird hit the nail on the head, its so subtle people dont even realise shes doing it. She's even promoting Smarties FGS. It's not about hating advertising but about people being honest about it, if someone is being paid to promote the sale of a product it's wrong to not let people know that you're only using it for free. Like the affiliate links, it's wrong to not let people know you're making any amount of money off them purchasing through that link especially if they can get it cheaper somewhere else. Her marketing power shouldn't be underestimated. She sold out minky twice. Do you think she's not being paid to do it and generating them all those sales out of the goodness of her heart?

The rest are slowly starting to realise, as predicted, that it's all pretty boring and have lost the buzz of stockpiling products because it's so pointless.

Like anything that rises so quickly, it comes down just as quick.

Boohissmiss · 10/10/2018 09:28

All the we are an army she flings about . Nope she doesn’t think she is one of them she wants ppl to feel part of this unattainable life she has in her new build . Oh we are all an army so powerful go out and buy all this stuff I’m promoting go go go. Then praises them after omg what good little hinchers you are look how strong we are. No love you just made a mint on your affiliate links and advertising coffee mate and smarties . Plus the way she talks about herself in third person . Pfft
