I don't get why people stockpile cleaning stuff! I have 1 bottle Zoflora, 1 bleach , 1 Mr Muscle bathroom cleaner, 1 Mr Muscle window cleaner, 1 bottle of fairy liquid! Would rather have money sitting in my bank instead of my cupboard.

If that's true about how people are using zoflora there really are no words for how incredibly stupid people can be.

MyHusbandSaysIHave1000MNNames · 23/09/2018 22:38

Why does it matter if other people choose to stockpile cleaning products? 🤔

ProfessorMoody · 23/09/2018 22:57

This whole Hunch thing is very odd. Each to their own, but I'm perfectly aware of how to clean and don't need someone to show me on Instagram.

Her house looks like someone sucked all the colour out of life. I'm afraid I couldn't live in such a soulless, dull box. I think she'd get on well on that DIY on a Budget Facebook group - it's all grey on there too.

Sugarformyhoney · 23/09/2018 23:02

She seems a nice lady but I’m not seeing her do anything groundbreaking. I think some of her videos are funny but it’s the Hinch army I think are absolutely unhinged. I bet Mrs Hinch herself is even laughing at them and their ‘hauls’ fgs

MiamiLogic · 23/09/2018 23:17

It’s winding me up because some of my go to cleaning products are out of stock constantly now. Stop stockpiling things when some people don’t even have one!

catinboots9 · 24/09/2018 09:37

Her husband took her cleaning sponge to visit her in hospital Confused

Cookiewisp · 24/09/2018 17:42

I’ve been watching her for a while as she gives me a boost to clean my own house! No zoflora or stockpiling for me though. It appears she probably has some form of OCD considering the way she was sorting her smarties by colour in her latest Instagram story. Her husband bringing the sponge and family cleaning the hospital made me cringe but it’s whatever comforts her I suppose

GulagMilkMonitor · 25/09/2018 12:02

Just been scrolling through stories and up pops Mrs Hinch with photo after photo of her Hinch Army’s Narnias stuffed with £200+ each of identical product and single use plastic. Creepy as fuck and an utterly despicable way to treat the planet.

I sat on the fence with this situation on the first thread but this is beyond ridiculous and that level of consumerism and consumption should not be celebrated with cries of “you’re doing so well!”

GulagMilkMonitor · 25/09/2018 12:06

But most things are on offer every week! Mind you my mum stockpiles loo rolls because there was a shortage in the 70s apparently

I am a prepper so I keep my house well stocked with food and essentials and I understand the desire to be prepared. Especially with Brexit coming up.

There is no need for 40+ bottles of Cif! That should last a “normal” household 10 years but many of these fans seem to be getting through 6-7 products per week. It is repulsive.

Neshoma · 25/09/2018 12:10

Everything she cleans is already clean.

And why clean your sink or hob, then use another product and clan it again. It doesn't get any cleaner.

And I don't think spraying your curtains and sofa every day with diluted fabric conditioner does your furniture any good.

Nicknacky · 25/09/2018 12:13

Why is she in hospital? I know she posted last week that she was unwell but has she said what’s wrong?

rainbowsandsmiles · 25/09/2018 12:24

She hasn't said why she's in hospital, which is fair enough as she doesn't have to share details. Hope she's better soon

Nicknacky · 25/09/2018 12:52

I know she doesn’t have to share details that’s why I asked if she has said what’s wrong with her.

Notso · 25/09/2018 13:09

I see the stock piling/stash thing across loads of groups.
The little bird one is dreadful for it, people buy things in every size photograph the pile along with loads of 🙈#hopehubsdoesn'tfindout then they have destash and sell it all a year later. It's bizarre.

As for Mrs Hinch I see loads of people saying about her tips, aside from spraying lenor and zoflora on everything or using products as they're meant to be used but loads of them together which isn't advised. She doesn't give any tips. It's puzzling to me.

Neshoma · 25/09/2018 13:29

Tip 1: Don't buy a 'Stewart'? just use old tooth brushes.
Tip 2: Don't buy hundreds of products. Fairy liquid, bleach and cloth is all you need.
Tip3: Put an old sock on your hand and whizz around dusting.
Tip 4: A damp cloth is good for dusting too.
Tip 5: Open your windows for fresh air.

Shitonthebloodything · 25/09/2018 13:48

Whilst I don't get excited about buying or stockpiling cleaning products, I do own quite a lot and have extra of my most used in my garage because it's irritating to run out of washing powder/washing up liquid/whatever when you're busy.

I really like Mrs Hinch but I'm not a mega fan. The entire point of Instagram is that you follow only what interests you so if you don't get it, it's very easy to not follow.

There is so much negativity on here when any woman is doing well for herself and has the audacity to be happy about it. The previous Mrs Hinch thread was a prime example.

TomHardyswife · 26/09/2018 13:12

Just to add to the crazy things people on the hinch army Facebook page are doing.. I saw a post yesterday from one woman who puts zoflora in her electric plug in air fresheners!!!

Littlechocola · 26/09/2018 13:15

I did mop the floor with very diluted Zoflora yesterday and it smells lovely. Should I say I hinched it? Grin
Are ‘followers’ actually cleaning or just collecting cleaning products?

Littlechocola · 26/09/2018 13:16

@TomHardyswife house fire waiting to happen

oldgimmer78 · 26/09/2018 13:23

In my view they're essentially using these products as air fresheners!

Exactly. They (most of the cleaning accounts) are cleaning a surface with pine disinfectant, then using lemon cif and then spraying with zoflora. The surface was clean in the beginning but they keep going on about how fresh it smells. I have never, ever seen the suggestion of opening a window or airing a room.

serbska · 26/09/2018 13:51

I have never, ever seen the suggestion of opening a window or airing a room.

The real world air probably exacerbates their asthma or something

rainbowsandsmiles · 26/09/2018 14:10

Same, and it always baffles me how some obsessively watch Instagram accounts they profess to hate/winds them up (not necessarily Mrs H, just in general - the IG threads on here a prime example lol)
Just unfollow and find things you actually do like!
As for the FB page, there might be some Shock posts, but I've seen plenty of sensible people on there as well which balances it out.

GulagMilkMonitor · 26/09/2018 14:29

I hope her next door neighbours have food home insurance.

ImNotReallyAWaitress · 26/09/2018 15:34

There was another one using zoflora as a reed diffuser :-/

Mummysharkdoodoodoo · 29/09/2018 15:28

I can’t believe how many freebies she’s been sent.

What was she in hospital for?
