Counter claims all over Twitter that Rosenstein has not resigned, and won’t, but is on his way to the WH expecting to be fired.

Not good. I hope it turns out to be a bad move in the end game.

Very contradictory reports. Axios has him resigning, other outlets say he won't and Trump will have to fire him.

Looks like there might be some deliberate misinformation flowing on this issue.

Remember famous incident where Sessions offered to resign after Trump berated him. Then dragged back into White House from his SUV by Pence, Priebus, etc. Resignation eventually was not accepted. Just a reminder that it's often fluid/crazy with this

Yes - the latest line out of the Justice Department is that Rosenstein “offered” his resignation to Kelly but it hasn’t been officially accepted.

Here at the White House there’s no sign of Rosenstein, a lone intern is keeping watch over the comms office, and no one seems to have any idea what is actually happening. Meanwhile, on Twitter, literally any employment situation is a possibility. Good job everyone.

Back in the real world! Rumours swirling re Rosenstein. Firing vs Resigning: rumour is that WH is refusing to accept a resignation because if he's fired Scrotus gets to appoint a replacement. If he resigns, it automatically goes to the Solicitor General.

Riddle me this. If someone is lying ((link: Dr.Ford) Dr.Ford)and they know that lying to the FBI is a crime, why would they be asking for an FBI investigation? If a sitting Federal Judge is accused of something he denies with his reputation at stake why wouldn’t he demand one?
