The Chinese aren’t impressed the US are imposing sanctions re: their purchase of weaponry from Russia, specifically 10 Russian Sukhoi Su-35 fighter jets and S-400 missiles. I wrote the other day about the cooperation between China, Russia, and North Korea that has been growing for some months, if not years.

Withdrawal of U.S. Forces Demanded in S. Korea

Pyongyang, September 21 (KCNA) -- The People's Action for Peace against War and other civic and social organizations of south Korea recently held a rally outside the U.S. military base in Ryongsan to condemn the U.S. for hindering the improvement of the inter-Korean relations and peace on the Korean peninsula, according to news reports from south Korea.

Speakers at the rally charged that the U.S. troops checked the project for reconnecting the railways between the north and the south days ago.

In a resolution, the organizations expressed the will to turn out in the struggle for independence against the U.S. and for getting the U.S. forces withdrawn from south Korea.

The Solidarity for People's Sovereignty, the Progressive Federation of Students and other organizations and Seoul citizens held rallies in different parts of Seoul in demand of the withdrawal of the U.S. troops, contending that it is directly connected with the destiny of the Korean nation for peace, prosperity and reunification. -0-

I just want to take a moment to revisit this, to wrap my head round it.

The Bannon/Trump project makes a big thing of publicising crimes, particularly sex crimes, allegedly committed by immigrants.

But when there's an allegation of attempted rape against a serving judge, who is seeking even higher office, Mitch McConnell's response is that none of this matters. He knows this is the right sort of chap to be a Supreme Court Judge – even before there has been an investigation. And his audience cheers and whistles.
