Given the vile posting she made some yeara ago about people in debt, AIBU to enjoy the epicaricasy of watching her apply for an IVA to avoid bankruptcy?

Was she just 'telling it like it is' when she blamed refugees for a childs murder when it wasn't refugees that did it?
Was she just 'telling it like it is' when she blamed Owen Jones for getting her sacked from lbc when it was her final solution tweet that did it?
Was she just 'telling it like it is' when she claimed a teacher took her class to protest against Donald Trump and was later made to pay damages after being sued for libel?

There's plenty more examples of her 'telling it like it is' that turned out to be her talking a load of lying shite too...

Did a PP really just say they like her becuase she was ‘honest’ when the entire reason she’s in IVA is becuase she’s been proven in a court of law to be a liar? Didn’t her previous employer (the DM) also not renew her contract after she cost them hundreds of thousands after being proven to be a liar?

I am glad about what happened to her because finally I feel like there's a bit of a justice in this world. And sometimes, the nasties really lose. I feel sorry for her children but ultimately, she brought it on them herself, by her own actions.

Far-right Canadian sounds like an Oxymoron, and I say that as a Canadian. I also think that if you've had to go to Canada to spout your right-wing views you can consider yourself an abject failure at life.

I remember the first time I’d ever heard of her she was on this morning, talking about children not coming from the right types of families and her kids wouldn’t ever be allowed to play with children called Tglee, I assumed that she was very monied.

Well, fuck it. All I can assume is her vitriol has come back to bite her, right where it hurts, and I’m hoping that she becomes her very own self fulfilling prophecy, I just want to read her moaning about debt ONCE.

I’d not worry too much about her kids, I’m sure they have dads who will financially support them, and are probably involved very heavily in the children’s lives- to ensure that the children don’t grow up to be as vile as her.

In regards to Jack, she’s got her own issues, but I do feel that she is trying to make the world a better place, not worse. I quite like her.

People who spout free speech whenever they want to spew bile and say hateful things seem to forget that the right to have free speech was hard fought for and cost the lives of many. Freedom wasn’t free.

JellyBears, it's not misfortune. It's a situation KH brought about quite deliberately through her own arrogance. She had a number of chances to avoid it.

And she doesn't just rejoice in other people's misfortune, she positively revels in it, particularly when they dare to be poor, vulnerable, or the wrong colour.

The peculiar thing about these people is that although they're very keen on extreme notions of personal responsibility for other people (Sick?, must be skiving) they never apply them to themselves.

So Tommy Robinson ignores a judge's order and goes to prison? He's being persecuted by the state. Brexit going wrong? Blame "Remainers" or the EU. So you can bet your life KH will be portraying herself as the victim before very long.

I think she was well off when she had h column and radio money coming in but her income stream has really dried up since the DM and LBC etc dropped her. Again - entirely predictable consequences of her own awful actions.

I find Katie Hopkins perplexing. She found a role as being a patomime villain. I wonder if she even agreed with everything she wrote, whether it was all done to get a reaction. It is weird that someone seemingly enjoys being hated. I can’t rejoice in her final downfall. I feel sorry for her. It can’t be nice to be Katie Hopkins and universally hated. I wonder what the reaction would be if she committed suicide?

There has been a surge in pushing right wing views since brexit. KH appeared to be employed by various media to let us know how much we are prepared to tolerate. She took every statement to the extreme and dismissed Jack Monroe as of no importance. So, glad to know we still find KH's views an absolute insult to the majority of people, on mumsnet at least.

In all seriousness, I can understand people being extremely hostile to Hopkins - she's repeatedly targeted minorities (Muslims, people with disabilities, etc) in the worst kind of clickbait, which encourages those kinds of attitudes. When you're repeatedly on the pointy of discrimination from people "telling it like it is", I'm guessing it's hard not to rejoice when society (and the law) finally decides that they've gone too far.

It could not have happened to a nicer person. :)

But you do know it is just these twats way out of getting to pay of their debts like Kerry Katona and Daniella Westbrook, i doubt it would affect any changes in her life or expenditure.
