Just a bit of fun..

I am not on FB, DH is. People we know regularly go out for meals and drinks. They always post their meal with some comment about their evening.

Don't get me wrong - I am not criticising - in fact DH and me find this highly amusing. It gives us a good laugh because we just don't get it. Why would anyone be interested in what you have for dinner lol?

Do you ever post your meal on FB when you are out for food and drinks? Genuinely interested - either that or we have odd friends :) :)

I really hope my fb 'friends' just defriend me if my food/cat/whatever pics annoy them. I'd rather that than think they are rolling their eyes and huffing each time I post. Seriously, its fine. I have a guy I am friends with, don't see him all that often but when we do we get on great, have a laugh, a lot of respect for one another. We can't be friends on FB. My cat pics annoy him and he has a hobby which he spends a lot of time talking about which I don't find particularly interesting so we are no longer fb 'friends' and yet we are friends in real life...who knew?!

I sometimes wonder what the hell some people are on FB for when they seem to hate updates from their friends. Confused
So what if some post updates of their dinner, or as someone else said, check in to places? People use FB in different ways.
I personally like to see what they're up to, like a good foodie post, or nice to see them checking in to somewhere like an airport as it means they're going on holiday and I'm happy for them.
To think it's boasting says a lot more about your issues than it does about someone posting their doings on FB.
