I have a clause in my will (well the DNR and instructions part not the will itself) to say I should be hair free on my face or I will come back and haunt you all!

I'm so glad I'm not the only one!
I actually spend about 30 mins a day plucking hair from my chin! I actually have a permanent creak in my neck.

I also thought I was imagining the hairier thighs...

Sigh....

I gave up on maintain my lady garden around the time I was pregnant... too many other bits to be worried about!

I wouldn't even mind but I paid 3k to have laser on my face about 14 years ago and it's all come back. It makes me want to cry. I forever worry about what will happen if I lost the use of my hands!!! I'd have a full grown Conchita beard!!

@MsJudgemental
JML Finishing Touch Flawless Trimmer Is your friend!

I've seen this advertised but can't quite make out what it is. Is it an electric razor? Do you have one, and would you recommend it?
Thanks. :)

Tentontruck - I read on your thread “defrost your face” 😀 instead of deforest!!! I have several nipple lashes and grey pubes - it ain’t going to get any better I’d it.

I haven't spotted any chin hairs yet. But I do get random black hairs sprouting from round my nipples from time to time Blush the rest of my body hair is fair so they really stick out! bleugh they're gross.

Get laser, get laser, get laser! It works really well on those dark bristly hairs and I’m not exaggerating when I say it changed my life and I wish I’d done it years ago. I used to spend 10 mins every morning hunting for chin hairs and was self conscious all the time in case they peeked through. After one season they were light and much less, after about 3 I stopped worrying about them and after 6 my chin is totally clear again. It seems to have cleared up my chin spots too!

Oh and laser technology has come on a lot so if you’ve done it before, try again. I pay £45 a session in London and I’ve seen it cheaper in package deals etc

I think we need to become hipsters. They grow hair and don't care. Why should we?

Just having a laugh. But honestly the amount of hairs that grow out of a woman's face is just unreal. Not to mention all the other bits of our bodies too, but they can be covered by clothing. Faces and chins cannot in general, depending on your culture I suppose.

I tweeze the chin hairs as I watch TV each evening. I have to use hair removal cream to remove the shadow from my top lip on a regular basis. I also use it between my eyebrows! Said eyebrows can go á la rockhopper penguin in days! And my belly has fine dark hair like a chimp's. It's a daily battle.

And I pluck my nipple hairs too. Foul.

I have been lasering since April and STILL have to shave twice a day, it's made no difference :(

I work in critical care and have spent many times plucking, shaving and even colouring hair for some of our patients (obvs when at their request so full consent). All of us nurses know exactly what we’d want in terms of de-hairing and general maintenance should we ever need it Wink

That is so lovely of you and your team. But is not guaranteed throughout the NHS/country is it.

I am so grateful to you for doing this.

cornflake,

Believe me you have many hairs already, you just don't know it yet. Chin, lip, pubes (that is up for discussion), legs, thighs, you get the drift.

Just keep an eye on your chin. That's where they sprout even at your age yikes!

I would love to laser, but all my hair, bar one, is white. It is 100 times thicker than what I have on my head. I plucked my chin and shaved my legs and pubes on Sunday in preparation for my holidays on Saturday. Today, I found a chin hair whilst at work and my legs, which rarely grow much hair, are noticeably stubbly! My pubes never really recovered from being shaved off for a hysterectomy 20 years ago, apart from where they grow around the edges of my pants/swimming costumes. I can barely grow hair on my head, so why is the rest of my body not the same?!

I needed this laugh this evening. Last night watching tv I realised i had a full Ming the merciless tache, spent the night stroking it and raising an eyebrow then plucked it out this morning. Omg so painful.
Why are beard hairs more like pubes though? Thick and spiky. Ever since ds I’ve been getting hairer and I was pretty hairy to begin with. Hairy toes, why! I though it was cat hair when but it wouldn’t brush off.
