A rhythmless man at church has said he wants to put on a concert to raise some money for shoeless orphans. We shall call him A.

A said to B that they have money to help. B said that the last concert raised some issues but would support them none the less.

C said she didn't want to be forgotten.

It all sounds a lot of stress and hard work. If I was you I'd drop it and do a Blue Peter appeal.

Like I said it would have raised more that £50 but since having kids my aim is completely off. If I’d got the vicars mouth B promised an extra £200 for the charity but the vicars wife was the unfortunate recipient. Which I am obviously sorry and mortified about. I haven’t been able to talk to her since. It’s been awkward particularly at the jam and Jerusalem WI event.

I'm just making a cup of tea and then I'll fill you in on how the meeting went.
You know that feeling when you pull up a weed and it leaves a big hole but it's ok because soon enough another weed grows back in it's place? Yeah, the meeting went just like that and I need a break!!

So, where to start.
Let's go with C.
So. During the last concert C was very upset after her solo. She sounded great and had an encore so I couldn't work out what the problem was. She was very cross with A and B but that is nothing unusual as you know what they are like!
There was a very nasty smell hanging around the alcove next to the altar (where we were sat waiting to perform.) It turned out C had wet herself (due to nerves, I'm sure), B had noticed and ran off to tell A who then went off and had a laugh about it with his African drummer friends (I swear, you couldn't make this up!)
The drums were too loud and a few people complained and poeple didn't want to donate any money (I think we made £100/£150 but that was mostly from my friends and family and some of the orchestra.
After the concert it all went back to normal. C has always taken a back seat.
At the meeting, B decided to share C's accident again. As you can imagine it didn't go down very well.
C has decided to only do one solo. A and B would like to do a few duets and bring back the drums (not on my watch!)
The problem is, C has picked a hymn that is notorious for it's timing. (It's ok, I haven't confused A with C- A still has terrible rhythm.) The orchestra can handle it perfectly but her timing is a bit off so I'm annoyed I didn't say anything at the time.
B was so annoying as she kept going on about being featured in an episode of Songs of Praise (it's not going to happen, B! Calm down!)

Yes it is going ahead but not until christmas or perhaps early spring.
