A rhythmless man at church has said he wants to put on a concert to raise some money for shoeless orphans. We shall call him A.

A said to B that they have money to help. B said that the last concert raised some issues but would support them none the less.

C said she didn't want to be forgotten.

OP we need an update on how the council meeting went. Did C show up? How did A and B take it?

When your MIL told you the story did it make any more sense?

feefee - OP was shocked and appalled at my suggestion C sing some popular shoe themed songs as part of the concert. I hardly think she’s going to allow holy communion to be taken out of a penis beaker!!!

mincepies - ah I see, that’s probably ok then. I guess it has the added advantage that no one is likely to steal from the collection, as no one will want to put their hand in it.

But only suitable for the collection- if throughly rinsed. As a side note I have a beautiful singing voice -my dog loves it- so I volunteer my singing voice for the evenings merriments.

To be honest I am person D and I’m very upset that I haven’t even been mentioned in the OP. Especially given my ping pong routine bought in £50 at the last benefit. It would have been more, I was aiming at the vicars mouth but got his wife instead. A mistake that has been made before admittedly.

And C isn’t even that forgetful to be honest with you. Just not that bright.
