NC (name changed as I don't want this to be outing)

A rhythmless man at church has said he wants to put on a concert to raise some money for shoeless orphans. We shall call him A.

A said to B that they have money to help. B said that the last concert raised some issues but would support them none the less.

C said she didn't want to be forgotten.

Who is BU?

May I suggest that a penguin bollard might help in this situation..?

nowayishere · 28/08/2018 22:14

@claw. No she's in her 50's. Great music joke BTW!!

Photos, or it isn't real.

Albatross26 · 28/08/2018 22:16

What. Is. Happening? Grin

Loyaultemelie · 28/08/2018 22:17

There are no bats in our church
Yes but don't forget Colonel Mustard (or is he M?)

PhilomenaButterfly · 28/08/2018 22:18

Penguin bollards always help.

JustLurkingAway · 28/08/2018 22:18

C is secretly one of the African Drummers, obviously.

Magicmonster · 28/08/2018 22:19

I’m still feeling sorry for C. OP, you repeatedly mention that C is whining about being left out, yet we are 12 pages in and you still haven’t explained what it is he is so good at, thereby rather validating his point about being overlooked! You seem to have an obvious solution here in the form of C, and his ability to construct lifesize and very lifelike sculptures of Jesus out of hymn books and bat droppings, yet you are consistently failing to see this as a money making option. Poor C. I’d feel a bit crap too if I spent hours on a sculpture just to be overlooked in favour of a rhythemless man and his percussion playing pals.

gottastopeatingchocolate · 28/08/2018 22:21

OP, I have trawled through 12 pages because your first post said a "rhythmless man wants to put on a concert".. I rushed off to find my daughter's tambourine, and now you state that his lack of rhythm isn't an issue? I will never get those 20 minutes back!

I might be missing something, but what exactly is the argument between A and B? Because you state that although there were issues with the original concert (lack of donations being the primary one, I would imagine) that B was supportive of A.

If C wants to do a solo, let him/her. It doesn't require attendance at rehearsals as it is solo, and it pads out the concert with someone you say is quite good.

And if your name is Susan, as I suspect, you were quite complimentary about my ribbon dance to my face, so to cast aspersions on it in an "anonymous" forum is a bit low!

Frankly, if A and B have the money to help with the shoe issue, they should probably donate the cash direct and forget about the concert. It smacks of people spending a fortune filling a bath with beans in order to raise £23.14 for charity.

HidingFromMyKids · 28/08/2018 22:23

I first thought this was a really tricky riddle from the OP.

Now I'm wondering if it's more of a murder mystery but we haven't quite got to the murder yet?.

Also I think OP is D and is married to C that's why they have listened to them whine alot but still overlooked them like magicmonster pointed out.

Linzbe · 28/08/2018 22:25

WTAF have I just read?! 😂😂😂

PhilomenaButterfly · 28/08/2018 22:25

No, the OP is Z! Or possibly O.

Claw001 · 28/08/2018 22:26

A&B should duet themselves!

Golde · 28/08/2018 22:30

But who's paying for the camper van?

Claw001 · 28/08/2018 22:31

I think we are supposed to be figuring out D

nowayishere · 28/08/2018 22:31

@choc, I don't know you or Susan...
@magic I have been quite clear explaining c's capabilities. she wants to sing a solo. If she doesn't turn up how does the orchestra rehearse?

AglassOfWine · 28/08/2018 22:32

Is this one of those Mensa challenges!? If so, my answer is C

Redstar2014 · 28/08/2018 22:32

magicmonster why have you assumed C is male? Could be non-binary, you judgemental non-gender-specific person.

nowayishere · 28/08/2018 22:32

@claw I performed a trio with A and B it was quite simply. Stunning.

Was there T. rex arms in ASDA?

Oddcat · 28/08/2018 22:35

Op , I would stick with what you know works. A trio sounds a great idea . What does Bat out of Hell sound like on the organ ?

Elephant14 · 28/08/2018 22:36

I really like the person who shoehorned "numberwang" into this and I want to be her friend. She's my C.

Elephant14 · 28/08/2018 22:36

I performed a trio with A and B it was quite simply. Stunning. - Threesome!!!

PuntCuffin · 28/08/2018 22:37

Seems obvious to me.
AIBU because this is not BIBU or CIBU.
Anything else is irrelevant.
