I keep re watching it, I’ve not laughed so hard in ages. Oh dear oh dear Theresa!! What on Earth was she thinking!

I've never had to sober dance on the world's stage.
Well done to her I say.

kalinkafoxtrot45 · 28/08/2018 21:37

Well, she was awkward as fuck, and I detest the woman, but can’t condemn her for this - she was going to be criticised either way.

user1486076969 · 28/08/2018 21:37

Give her a break, she's 'dammed if she does and dammed if she doesn't'. I can't even begin to imagine being in her shoes and what must keep her awake at 3am.

surferjet · 28/08/2018 21:37

She laughed it off.
Nothing fazes her.
I think I love her.

surferjet · 28/08/2018 21:42

Probably practicing before she has to the same for the EU in desperation of a deal

She’s preparing for a no deal brexit incase the EU really try & make things difficult for us - or has that passed you by?

LunchBoxPolice · 28/08/2018 21:51

I don't like TM and I did laugh watching the video, then I felt bad for her because daaaamn I would have felt so awkward in that situation.

StormcloakNord · 28/08/2018 22:05

Properly hate her politics and everything she stands for so am wholeheartedly surprised to say I actually feel for her. Couldn't win in that situation and I think she just looked like a cute old nan doing a grandma-esque dance.

puzzledlady · 28/08/2018 22:10

Damned if she did damned if she didn’t. OP - grow up and get out more - you sound very immature.

brizzledrizzle · 28/08/2018 22:16

Much as I dislike the woman, I'd sooner extract my own teeth than dance in public so I won't judge her.

surferjet · 28/08/2018 22:21

I think the people who are ‘dying’ laughing really need to get a life.
She’s a 60 year old politician fgs, not Justin Timberlake.

Believeitornot · 28/08/2018 22:25

I laughed and cringed at the dancing. Because, im my head, she’s only doing it to try and seem more human. It didn’t seem genuine, she doesn’t seem comfortable ever dealing with people. Remember when she practically avoided the public during her general election campaign.

For me, the laughing isn’t about the fact her dancing was crap. There are few who can dance. More that I didn’t believe the intent was genuine.

RoseWhiteTips · 28/08/2018 23:28

Cute nan? Have you been at the sherry!?!?!

AintNoCista · 28/08/2018 23:42

Cute old Nan? I'm against laughing at her as it was a complete no win situation, but really, cute Nan?

Mr Burns is what I see when I look at her.

Reflexella · 28/08/2018 23:44

Mr Bean

TitsalinaBumSquash · 28/08/2018 23:47

Whatever Theresa May does is wrong to a lot of people. She's doing her best in a shit job in a country that's rapidly heading down the pan... in regards to her dancing, I would have twerked, for the larfs. Grin

Singlenotsingle · 28/08/2018 23:49

I'm sure you could do it so much better OP!

MissusGeneHunt · 28/08/2018 23:51

Funny, but good on her!

As bad as this, for political trickiness?!

bumblenbean · 28/08/2018 23:57

I agree that it looked quite comical but as the world’s most awkward dancer I felt an affinity with her (that’s a first!) and some of the really nasty comments online really don’t sit right with me. As others said, she gave it a go and must have felt pretty self conscious. To then read the vitriolic comments about how ridiculous she looked has got to hurt. Having a bit of a chuckle at how wooden she looks is one thing but some of the stuff I’ve seen online is vile. I can’t help but feel sorry for her. She never professed to be cool!

onetimeposter · 28/08/2018 23:58

I felt it showed effort.
I'm not a lover of her. But she's in a shit political situation and fucked whatever she does.
I'm a crap dancer, she was no worse than me. Plus she smiled throughout-fair play to her.

onetimeposter · 29/08/2018 00:01

Was I the only one laughing ironically at the immigrant fearing Leave voters and how they must have felt finding out we are now increasing relations with.....Africa
There is going to be a huge shock coming to the 'put the Great back in Great Britain' voters. They will be wishing they had never voted.

Singlenotsingle · 29/08/2018 00:20

Not at all, onetimeposter. What is this nonsense of which you speak?

girlalmighty · 29/08/2018 00:28

It was hilarious. She looked ridiculous and I cringed for her 😂 doubt she cares much though

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 29/08/2018 00:31

I did cringe for her

I thought she look more relaxed than I have seen her for a long time

I guess she is away from her enemies that she has tried to keep close

GunpowderGelatine · 29/08/2018 00:37

What a nasty world we live in. If you found your child laughing at a video of, for example, a peer at school dancing awkwardly would you say that was ok? Would you join? If not then Why can we do it?

Maybe I've had a sense of humour failure but I didn't find it funny at all. At least she gave it a go! And I'm not a May fan in the least.
