To ask which instant coffee is nicest?

What an odd zombie to revive! However, as instant coffee goes, Asda’s own Gold Blend is really nice. No harsh tastes, really smooth flavour.

Azera....I can't drink anything else now.

Aeropress is the best thing if you don't have space, to be honest it makes better coffee than most cheap coffee machines (including cheap espresso machines)

Lor is frankly disgusting. It used to be lovely as Carte Noire!

I stick with simple Douwe Egberts now. Milicano was nice too.

I quite like the "fair-trade Colombian instant coffee" from aldi.

Azera. I only buy when it's on offer

Following to see recommendations as I've had some awful ones recently (barista style ones which were awful)

And also just to remind everyone that nestle are very unethical, allowing child slave labour (yes really) and aggressively marketing their formula to mums and doctors in areas where water isn't safe (eg in places where families are poor and can't afford formula so some are forced to water it down more to make it last longer using water which isn't safe)

We bought an Aeropress at Christmas, after reading it was a quick way to make coffee but it's such a faff! It's only been used half a dozen times.

I buy Aldi Alcafe - £1.49 for 200g. It's nicer, imo, than many/most of the alternative brands.

Nescafé Azera.

Millicano and Azera are both nice.

Might as well give an opinion...to me real coffee tastes like cigarette butts, however DH has to have REAL coffee as instant is disgusting in his opinion. I love instant! Egberts is the smoothest and nicest IMO. But I happily enjoy Lidl or Aldi own brand also. Nescafé is damn awful, would rather drink boiled up toe nail clippings.

All instant coffee is pretty disgusting and taates nothing like 'proper' coffee but if I'm desperate for a cup I would go Douwe Egberts!

For those (quite a few!) who say above they drink instant because no room for machine etc - I have never used anything but this (oh sometimes a cafetière). £2.50 ish ! Coffee bags are extremely expensive (and can be weak) but excellent for travelling with.

Anyway I do sometimes have an instant coffee at a friends house - lavazza I think it is. Not bad. Different.

If I cant have a proper coffee... I love Asda own golden roast instant.

Or lidl do lovely decaf instant.
