I know it will never be the same as proper coffee but surely some are better than others?!

Butttons · 27/08/2018 16:39

Nescafe Azera here too

AmberLangslow · 27/08/2018 16:40

Coffee bags! There are a few different ones we’ve found and my DH now buys them instead of instant. Just as easy as making a cup of tea.

NoLeslie · 27/08/2018 16:41

Cafe direct machu picu (sp) is nice and I also like Millicano. I would rather go thirsty than drink any nestle products.

Sitranced · 27/08/2018 16:49

Percol or Azera

blamethecat · 27/08/2018 16:51

Another vote for coffee bags. Currently got Taylor's but the Lyons is good too (red box)

MountDiogenes · 27/08/2018 17:05

Azera

Lana1234 · 27/08/2018 17:12

Another for kenco milicano

CSIblonde · 27/08/2018 17:12

Kenco if you like v strong blend.

Elephant17 · 27/08/2018 17:29

I went for percol Columbian smooth. Will report back in the morning! They had a limited selection at the shop today.

I also like the kenco barista but fancied a change, last I tried Lor but was pretty underwhelmed by it.

Another one trying to avoid Nestle products here.

I like Douwe Egberts, but have recently been served Aldi's own special colombian roast (or something) and it was extremely lovely, on a par with the DE I'd say.

Agreed. Also I think the Aldi one goes a bit further.

serbska · 27/08/2018 17:32

The micro ground ones are revolutionary. You won’t be able to go back.

Nescafé Azera Americano

MyBrexitUnicornDied · 27/08/2018 17:38

Another Azera fan here! But I stock up when on offer as £5 is a lot for a tin of instant

I do the exact same think. I cocked up my coffee stockpile and spent £5.59 on a tin Sad

FabulousTomatoes · 27/08/2018 17:40

Azera americano

Sandstormbrewing · 27/08/2018 17:54

kenco rappor

IndigoSpritz · 27/08/2018 18:13

The Lyons coffee bags - especially the red - make excellent coffee and are very good value. Currently, in Booths and Waitrose, it's two boxes (i.e. 36 strong bags) for £4.00. I use them at work instead of the powdery abomination that passes for instant coffee. Be sure to use a big mug.

Spanglybangles · 27/08/2018 18:20

I’m not a big coffee drinker (prefer tea, Twinings Everyday), OH is the coffee person and buys beans to grind and use in the filter machine. I just stick with the odd cup of instant, Kenco Smooth (red lid jar) is the one I buy.

DontFundHate · 27/08/2018 18:22

Please have a good look at this if you drink Nescafé - boycott nestle. www.babymilkaction.org/nestlefree

WeirdCatLady · 27/08/2018 18:23

Kenco decaf for me

ViserionTheDragon · 27/08/2018 18:24

Another vote for Douwe Egberts! It's the best by far.

DerekTheBrave · 27/08/2018 18:24

Dowe Egberts here.

Eeyore2706 · 27/08/2018 18:25

Carte Noire (L’Or) for me and I’m a coffee snob! 2 teaspoons in a cup 😊

buttybuttybutthole · 27/08/2018 18:25

Douwe Egberts and it is always very cheap!!

catlovingdoctor · 27/08/2018 18:25

starbucks via is very good! but pricey for instant

thenightsky · 27/08/2018 18:25

Waitrose own brand Columbian.

buttybuttybutthole · 27/08/2018 18:26

I also rate most of the Coops own coffee tea and wine
