I call mine Mavis....She's mature

Erin. She's the same colour as the sky on the Aran Islands.

I have had a volvo called Tuna, An Astra called Crazy and know have a S Max called Kestral. All the names based on their registration!

Donna (Summers) because she's a Disco (Land Rover Discovery)

MIL had Skippy because she was old and crap with a sunroof, so you could chuck stuff in like a skip

We've also had Shamu (bit of a whale) and Pippa (moving from saloon to estate, bought at the same time as the royal wedding and there was a lot of discussion about her rear)

She's very elderly. I've had her since she was actually born. I paid cash for her, and I mean cash. It was the one time in my life when I had money!
I luffs her so much.

I've ever only named one of my cars.

It was after a local sportsman who was currently doing very well for himself.

20+ years later we have moved all round the country and now live a mile or two from said sportsman who now has a new trade and has been into our house to carry out some work. I was so tempted to mention the car but actually very glad I didn't.

I like to name cars based on their number plates and have been asked to name cars for a friend several times based on this 👌🏻👌🏻

Dh calls it "the little red car" because we used to have a bigger car that was red too. I call it "the microwave on wheels" because it's small and has no air conditioning.

My first car was called Chief, after the tank, because it was rock solid and in the only bump I had in it, it wrote off a Citroen and didn’t leave a mark on it. Tough as nails that car.

Ours are Big Bro ( a Focus) and Little Bro ( a Fiesta).

My last car was called Cece (Citroen C3 Picasso) & over the years I've had Peggy (Peugeot) Clive (Citroen Xantia) & Clara (Citroen Picasso) but I got a new car last week & it doesn't have a name yet.

I'm feeling that this car is a male but sticking with my theme of starting with the same letter as the make I'm not sure what to call it... it's a Hyundai & I'm not a fan of Harry or Henry.

My car, dd’s car, ds’ car and my husband’s cars are referred to by their make as he has more than one. None of our cars have a bloomin name.

I once named my car. When I traded it in it was most traumatic, and I swore never to name one again.
