AIBU to expect better quality from Christian louboutin

Finally treated myself to my first new pair of loubotins (had an inheritance windfall and after 2 years of mature student study have finally got my first job in chosen profession so celebrating) paid 495 for them and wore them for a grand total of 4 hours and now the red laquer on the soles is completely peeling off
So disappointed after many years of listing after a pair to have this happen I feel so let down

I always wear Ferragamo shoes, which wear very well but, as other posters have said, they do seem to be primarily designed for carpet wear and not for London streets. I wear a basic pair of Clark's shoes or trainers for commuting and carry a Ferragamo pair in a bag designed for this purpose which my darling late husband gave me as a present. It is a bit of a nuisance but at least I can wear my lovely Ferragamo shoes at my destination!
